Thrilling Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Morning... or maybe it will show afternoon... I too get upset with the auto correct... really changes the meaning of what we are trying to say!
The visit to the pain doctor yesterday gave him a chance to test the areas on the hips that need injections... the insurance company has been holding off their approval... we are being held hostage by the companys' that we pay for... doc wanted me to be on a stronger med... have been taking vicodin but he wanted me on Percocet generic... so now it is a waiting game...
Did shopping while I waited for prescription so have enough groceries to last me a month or so...
Irmi glad you can be with your parents... how is your mom taking these treatments (emotionally)?
Ah Sue I bet your vacation felt far to short...
Mitch I am way out of the loop! what are you doing to your tt?
What a busy talented group of ladies in here...
I would like to pick your brains about my setup: is it cheaper to tow a tt or have a mh and tow your car... not necessarily cheaper just which you like and why!
Thank you all...

Good Morning ladies. I was planning on taking off for a couple of days to the lake but I've been watching the weather. I'm so glad I decided to stay home. It's pouring cats & dogs here in Northern MN. They are saying severe weather across the mid west, possibly even tornados. I see you gals out east are having lots of rain. Lets hope it gets back to our nice summer weather. Have a good week everyone. I have my favorite campsite reserved for a couple of days next week. It will be so nice to get away and Butch will be able to swim right at my site.

I'm still in Fort Robinson, NE. It was about 90 yesterday and supposed to be even hotter today. Mostly, it is dry here, but it has rained hard for two of the last three days and lightly on the middle day, so it is unusually humid here. Even the fields are green, and I know they need the rain here because last year was drought.

I worked last night to try to practice reading the script I wrote for my narrated PowerPoint, but late last night I realized it was just not doable because I had written so much garbage text. I just couldn't pronounce all those words. So I deleted about 25% of the slides and am going to cut most of my script and retry. I have a tendency to be too long-winded and wordy, so I need to control it. After I finish this and posting on my blog, I am going to try again.

Need to dump my tanks today in my full-hookup site, but because the sewer connection is so far forward, I will need to close my slides, unhook water and electric, and move my vehicle temporarily. :x

Then later today I might walk to the museum or ride my bike. Or if too hot, will wait until tomorrow morning.

It is going to be another hot day today 99 degrees just does NOT excite me. Guess I will have to find some more inside chores to do OR a good book to read.

I turned auto correct off on my phone. I would rather read a misspelled word than have it totally change the entire meaning. I can usually figure out what the word is if it is misspelled but when it has a whole different word it can confuse the heck out of me.

I want the weather to go back the way it is supposed to be for all of us. These extremes this year are terrible. Flooding, sweltering, humidity....blech. At least I have no humidity here but this "its a dry heat" only applies if you are from the high humidity areas like the south or east. I would die there, I just do not do humidity well. I die here when it is this hot....geez. Where to move??? Where to move?? lol

Mary Ann, that line of storms going thru your area came thru here earlier this morning. Woke up to a big storm this morning. Clear now but like you said, more supposed to be coming later today and tonight. I did notice that the humidity has dropped since this morning tho, which is nice!

Played golf last night. It was pretty steamy but not as hot as they had predicted, so it wasn't too bad. Still didn't play too well tho.

Have a split shift today, so am home for a few hours now before heading back to work for tonight's shift.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Most likely I'm working on setting The Mobile Marlin on fire...I'm trying to replace the 1-stage converter/charger with a more efficient 4-stage one.
So far, so good.

The real test will most likely be later this afternoon when I power 'er up.
For your evening's entertainment, look toward NW TN for shooting flames and plumes of smoke, and a short blackened woman cursing at the top of her lungs.

Some of you will be glad to know my little charging indicator light is just happily flashing away.
No smoke, no sparks, no flames, no short, charred black woman.
Whew. My heart was racing when I plugged 'er in and flipped the main!!

What a great learning experience!

ON EDIT: I am no longer afraid of the power center!
