You might need to get on a full screen to see the entire pictures. Phones and some tablets cut them off sometimes.

I have poles in my rigs too, but don't use them much anymore.

I think if you click on the picture, you may be able to see the entire thing.

Your comment made me chuckle through the "memories that are rolling down my cheeks..."

Growing up my family had a cabin on the Delaware River in the northwest corner of New Jersey. My dad spent as much time as possible fishing while my Mom chased the 6 of us. That didn't go over too well with her, so for me fishing means an argument and then having to eat something that tastes like mud with a ton of teensy, malicious bones.

Dad tried to interest each of us in sitting all day in the rowboat and staying silent. The only one it stuck with was my brother. Maybe that's why today you can't get him to stop talking! So as wonderful as the fresh fish is I'm sure, my preference now is to pick it up at the local market and bring it home and grill it.

I haven't fished in soooo many years !! Not sure I could remember how :D Nothing better then fresh caught fish. Those I know who fish, I always try to get a few of their catch from them. Better then any store bought, but I do settle for the store bought, as I love fish.

I remember the bone part too, Ellen, always had something soft nearby when eating to get a bone on down if I swallowed one, seldom happened and I was always lucky as I heard of many who ended up in hospital to get them out.

I think a fishing pole in an RV is a terrific match :D

CArol :)

Maybe I should camp with some of you fisherwomen and learn how again !!!! :?:  ;)

I love fishing but haven't a clue how to clean them. Guess I need my big brother to teach me cause I love fresh fish. I think we need to start a movement to get fishing license in all 50 states for Seniors. Last year I had to get 3 license of coarse TN. then a temporary in Missouri that was $29.00 for 3 days and one in Kentucky for $25.00. I think its a hassle to always be going to Walmart for a fishin license in all these states just so I can throw them back in. :P

I agree that there should be a national fishing license for seniors. I can fish in Texas with my senior Louisiana fishing license and Texans can fish in Louisiana with a senior license. I don't know if any other states have that agreement.

If states would stop and think about how much fishermen spend they would be giving licenses away.

I got mine Friday. It's hard to catch anyone at the counter in the sporting section at Walmart. There was a man getting his license so thought now's my chance.
