Irmi & Steve and Carolb are leaving us today, but Gayle is due in today and Becky tomorrow....

Sigh! I so long to be there for all that food, wine, and chat! Thanks for taking these wonderful pics to share with us all! Nice to see all those people who are usually just avatars, and realize that, "WOW! They are really real!"

I really wish each and every one of you could be here with us! We are having. Wonderful time, so sorry to have Steve Irmi and Carol leave this morning. I've taken a few pictures but don't have my camera cord here, so y'all will have to wait a while for my pics to show up.

Paulette, Barb and I headed onto the river this morning. We did make it back before the weather bug's predicted storm was scheduled to hit. The river current was a little stronger that it looked when standing by the Ferry dock. But it was doable. Paulette and Barb did say that there were times with forward movement was more difficult...something about being reduced by laughter....





Heading up river past some of the riverside seasonal rigs. Everything looks great until you think about floods and high water.



The river creates a peaceful view.



Anyone interested in a weekly rental? I have no idea if it is available but you won't be bothered by many. You are in the middle of the river on an island....





Nope the current is just as stiff over here by the shallows...

Glad you had some time to get out on that inviting water. Wish I was there to try out my new kayoo. I did visit it today....it's almost finished.

But we did find time to do a group photo before Irmi, Steve, and Carolb left....and we'll do another when Gayle & Becky get here...
