Monday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday Morning

Postby Colliemom » Mon Jun 24, 2013 5:31 am

Good Morning everyone,

Wide awake at 5:30 a.m. this morning, so guess it's time to start the coffee, although neither Maggie or I drink it, will make some for those of you who do. Also have cereal, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, bananas, strawberries here, so you have plenty of choices for breakfast.

Cool this morning as it has been the past few days. Although we are having some warm weather, it has not been intolerable with heat and humidity. Haven't seen a lot of sunshine due to the cloud cover that has been hanging around, but it clears in mid afternoon and allows some sun to shine for the remainder of the day. So far neither of us has had to use A/C at night. So it's been rather pleasant.

Maggie and I had a nice day yesterday, will post in GTG section and today she will be heading over toward Traverse City to pick up her mom at the airport and meet up with some family members. They have a really fun agenda for the rest of this week and a lot to see and do. So they will have loads of fun I know. And I will be spending this week getting myself ready to head north On Friday, so will be busy too.

PA GTG should be getting off the ground today as Lori and Ernie are heading over there and hopefully those who are there have arrived safely. Those still heading in, travel safe. Looking forward to hearing all about your adventures and hopefully you own't need the bail money  Anybody check on the fund lately?

Ava, hope that you are able to see some museums and enjoy the last few days you have of your vacation this week. You have certainly been a blessing to your friend and I hope she appreciated it.

Everybody get to see the super moon last night. We watched it rise over the trees here and Maggie got a really good shot of it. She is quite the photographer and has an array of equipment with her. The photographer in me is envious of it all  Actually, I'm hoping to get a new one myself eventually and start my own collection :)

Have a great time at the PA GTG gals and guys, everybody on the road, enjoy your travels and keep safe, everyone else have a great day.

Morning sue and all who follow. I'm up too...don't get to sleep in anymore (read that puppy in the house!). She is finally getting the routine and is almost housebroken...just the very occasional accident. And she is so sweet. Anyway...today I will spend doing the last minute packing of the rig, turning on the fridge, getting my clothes packed, etc. I'm really excited as this is only my second outing in the new rv and this will be Mona's first camping trip! Can't wait to see everyone in PA and meet the newbies too.

Today I also have the lawn guy coming by to chat about some invasive plants that need removed. And the pet sitter is coming to play with Moka again. I leave next week for a week in California visiting son #2. I'm really excited that I found a pet sitter to come stay with my crew while I'm gone. She also happens to be a vet tech!

Well, back to my cuppa tea...no coffee here. Your breakfast spread sounds yummy sue. Hope Maggie has safe travels and a wonderful time with family up there.

Good morning to all.

I arrived at Ferryboat yesterday afternoon and managed to get backed in with the assistance of staff here. This is a very nice quiet campground. Not much activity on the river this morning but I anticipate that will change later. Looking forward to the arrival of others later today and the rest of the week.

Irmi, I am sorry to hear about you parents but you do have your priorities straight. It will be good to see you again and to meet others.

Safe travels to those on the road and a great day to all. Brenda

good morning ladies
big big storm last night, it was fabulous and everything got a good drenching. Too bad it didn't happen in the
mountains to help put the fires out.
Taking care of a few tasks today as my vacation winds down to a close. Car needs a little cleaning out and then
a little rearranging to get ready for packing up. Will leave here on Thursday. Taking my time getting back so I
can enjoy a few sites along the way.
Enjoyed my hike yesterday, too bad there is no campground at the lake, but there is a private campground very close by.
Had typed up a whole big paragraph of thoughts and details but somehow the highlighter thingy made it all disappear, don't
have the energy to do it over so guess my thoughts are meant to stay in my head.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good Morning All, Sue, your breakfast sounds delightful! My daughter and son-in-law are here! Their little cockapoo also, so my cat stays in the bedroom. Casey and the cockapoo get along famously. Take turns playing with the same toy....

I'm looking forward to the pictures from the PA gtg.

Drive safely, those traveling, and have a happy day those staying home. lyn

Good Morning, We had some much needed rain last night also, but the clouds covered the full moon. So many of you are gearing up or already on the road it's making me want to go somewhere north where hopefully it is cooler. Ava I hope you have a good trip home and can take it easy along the way.
Everyone on the road, safe travels and have fun.

Good morning everyone !! Well, I'm over at my friends in Cleveland, Tn . Thor, is in the shop getting his hole fixed, so I will be here for a couple of days! I have a tree down at home in the back of my place so neighbor boy decided to not mow any of area, I cant see tree, and I have a huge area that my riding mower wont do, another problem. Had another one, but being around the right people at right time hopefully has that fixed. Round about way of mentioning it, now the problem was my new computer came on Sunday, to just a total blank screen. I had no idea what to do and of course the manual is on the computer which makes it impossible to try to find out anything, when you can't get on. If I can will try to print out. This friend who was visiting Dick and Sandra loves computers said she could try , so I discovered that if you push F11, computers will reset themselves most times. She had no idea why this happened though, I've only had it 3 months, not good, problems already. What's puzzling worked fine Saturday.

Well enough of problems, amazingly they really don't have me stressed out as they might have in the past. Think I've finally hit an age or smart now to realize everything always works out, sometimes like you want but most time they just work out :D So I just let them work out and save my energy !!!

No real news, hoping you all are staying well, those on the road stay safe. One day I might have time to catch up on some of the news here, and know what everyone is into   In the meantime don't want you all to forget me
;)
Take care,
CArol :)

Thank you for the coffee, Sue; I will have another cup. ;)

Very low energy this morning. I had too much fun at the garden tour yesterday -- and came home with heat rash. It was so worth it, though. I had a wonderful day.

Today will be quiet -- indoor activity, lunch with an old friend, and air conditioning! :D
