Today, I took her to her "temporary" storage place and road my bike back home. That was hard in this heat...but not too terrible. It was only 2.8 miles.
Without the help of you ladies it never would have happened...! And I thank you for all your advice and supportive words.
I made the boys at La Mesa RV work their butts off during the "Walk through" yesterday. But they were good humored about it, and ended up enjoying themselves. The salesmen are who I usually have no use for. They can't take my demanding personality...oh well! But I always get the good deals that way.
This was a HUGE commitment...and some say too extravagant (read; DH), but I could NOT think of a good reason to not do it!

My daughter and I are going to do 1 - 2 weekends close by here to test out everything, in preparation for our big trip in late Sept to visit my Dad in the Ozarks, and maybe a sidetrack to Memphis.
The previous owner loaded her down...I couldn't be more pleased. She's got a Solar Panel; 2 group 31 house batteries, a Macerator on the sewage, a real mattress on the main bed, Banks Power on the V-10 chassis, manual awning, no carpeting in the house, a Norcold frig., a hi-tech Kenwood GPS CD Stereo system and back-up camera, a new Jensen TV/ DVD, A/C ducted in the house, an automatic step, a hang-on-to bar on the door, tow package, a real oven, no stupid little dinette...but 2 removable tables in front of the couch instead, crank up TV antenna, and a micro-quiet gen.
The things that I would have LIKED to have, but it wasn't a deal killer was an outside shower, no carpeting in the truck cab, sound system to the house, and the Atomic wall clock is missing....but I'm actively looking for a replacement.
On top of that La Mesa replaced all 6 tires, and the 2 house batts...because that's "just what they do."
Again...thank you all. And I'm sorry I haven't been on here filling you in lately, but buying/financing a MH is grueling work! I've been stressing like you wouldn't believe. DH was not supportive
