A Walk on the Beach

Today was a beautiful day here in Huatabampito so we took a walk on the beach and gathered some shells and just enjoyed the scenery - Little birdy foot prints

Guess we disturbed the pelican

Another bird we saw

Some of the damage from last years storms

More of the houses

Fishermen - the seagull flew by just as I pushed the button

This one is just neglected

Some of the shells we picked up

Just lovely. If you had tried for the seagull and the fisherman you probably would have missed it. Loved the slide show you did. I would love to learn how to do that.

Okay, I am such a wus, RVn in Mexico is something I'd be nervous to do, but your pics make me want to do it so bad! The beach & sunsets are gorgeous! And the shells are awesome. I never find sand dollars any more. I look forward to your posts so much. :D Thanks again for all the great pics!

Great pics as usual.

Sparkle, I could help show you how to do a slideshow.

Sand dollars, like many of the shells, come at certain times with certain tides. That's why you'll see a bunch, then none. Sparkle and I are constantly amazed by the difference in the shells that come up just 24 hours apart. One day a bunch of one kind, the next there are none of them. Sand dollars here seem to be something we only see every few months. Then they are really plentiful - for a couple days.

Wonderful pictures !!!
I love sand dollars !! I find them everyday here - "my" sand dollars are different from "yours" - the one's here don't have the holes around them, they're solid. It's so fun to find shells :D I'm now addicted to agate hunting !!!! I can't stop.
The beach is a magical place, thank you for sharing your beach with us.
Oh and I'm a wuss too - I'm not going to be RV'ing in Mexico - I'd be scared to death !!!

I am really looking forward to a long trip to Mexico. I'm teaching myself Spanish. Heaven help the poor Mexicans when I speak, being self taught and with a Scottish brogue thrown in. At least I'll be good at saying perrrrro. I remember the last time I tried, I'd start off with, "Por favor, no habla Espanol...." by which time they were already rolling their eyes and diving into the back of the store.

Great pictures....may have to plan a future trip to Mexico too. Sand dollars are so hard to find whole and in good condition on FL beaches, at least when I've been there.
