the rigs they have wow...love them...and I guess u don't need a vintage rig
to join...I saw every thing from a truck camper to a class c...boy I wish I would
have gotten into this RV'ing when I was a little younger...oh well here I am now..

Carolyn and I joined the Getawaygals last year because they had a rally in Louisiana. They are a spin off of Sisters on the Fly. They had some cute vintage trailers and some decorated Class C's. One lady was even using a horse trailer. They have a lot of good ideas. We had fun but I'm not into decorating and dressing up. I have enough trouble keeping a 10 year old motorhome on the road. I'm not going to be looking for a 30 or 40 year old trailer. Some of them have spent so much money they could have bought a new RV.

Hi there
I LOVE vintage campers and RV's. I am on the hunt for one even though we do have a class c, I still want a vintage one to fix up and use. My husband likes having a new one. We are going to The Country Living Fair this weekend and (Sisters on the Fly) are supposed to be there. I can't wait to see some of their campers.

Sisters on the Fly used to have a rule (might still) of no dogs/pets allowed at their gtg's. Kind of kept me out. Hate rules like that. But I love vintage rv's. We have some on the forum that restore rv's. One doesn't post here much anymore - but I know is restoring two rv's right now.

I wish she would, too. She posted some pics of major renovation work she just did on one tt on FB. I don't see all FB posts, but got lucky on that one. Maybe some of us can convince her to come back over here and post them, too. Will try.

If you go to the Getawaygals website there are some pictures posted of the rallies that show some of the trailers. The Sisters on the Fly website has pictures of trailers too.
