Good Morning from the sunny 45th,
Looks like another beautiful day here in northern Michigan. June is such a beautiful month to be up here. Temps average between 60's at he beginning of the month and gradually warm up the 70's as the month progresses along. Not to say there aren't ups and downs in that of course. And no humidity. Perfectly enjoyable weather. Those you can see forever kind of days. And everything just bloomed out and so fresh and green.
Got some fun things on my agenda today. This is the weekend of the annual Splash=In at the local county park. Float planes come in from all over the U.S. and Canada. The numbers vary of course depending of weather conditions in a given area. The day is filled with a plane parade, take off and landing events, bomb drop (no not real bombs, just fake what ever they use), water balloon drop etc. designed to show off and hone the pilots skills. I haven't been able to really watch all this cause I worked on the weekends at the State Park. We would see the planes when they passed over, but that was all and some years that depended on which way the wind was flying. So today I am taking my chair and going over to my cousins and sit on her beach and watch for awhile.
Then depending on when I have my fill of this, I will come back home and continue the project of building a picnic table. It's about half assembled right now. Got all the cutting done yesterday and now need to finish sanding the next batch of boards. Will have enough scrap lumber left to build a couple of side tables if I want probably.
So that's todays fun for me. Looking forward to hearing what kind of fun things you all are into today too. Have a great one.
