Thanks Excel and Mitch  I'm giggling!

Yeah..I NEVER trust sales people, that's why I'm doing all this research. Like I said...there's a running joke in my family about me and buying cars.

Anyway, I think I'm being too impatient...either that, or for some reason around here the good class Cs are being snapped up too fast...just like the housing :?

All good comments and observations.....About the model and negotiating with salesmen.... :)

Pluses that I did notice (well at least things I liked) large tanks, less than 8 feet in width, nice inside storage options.

I had to replace the latch for my screen door, but that was just one small part and was easy to find.

Run, do not walk, away from that one. Seek something else.

Yeah...I did.

I just looked at a 2010 Winnie Access. No slide-out, but lots of other things I can appreciate. Plus Winnie has lots of molds, and old stuff stashed at their plant to give more availability to replacing parts.

Do I need a slide-out? IDK...I keep thinking if I had a slide-out I'd have the room to do my work-out DVDs...but would I actually be able to...again, IDK. Sigh....

Anyway, it's got the batt. kill, 14K miles on OD; 20 hours on gen.; Banks Power upgrade; real mattress on the bed; and lots of other good stuff, and it's only 25 feet...so we'll see :)

Much better if the price is right and a slide-out is just another thing to be maintained.

Yeah...that's what I was thinking Marda.

Well, I negotiated a price so low on this one, the salesman's kinda mad at me...Ha!

As I said; Ha!

The coach is a trade-in, but it's missing the table-top, and I'm like I can't go on a trip without a table-top!

Yeah...he's like, "Well, at this price point...."

Are you kidding me?!

If that's the only thing wrong and you can get it in the price range you want, a table top is not that hard to make. I've made two - one out of MDF because that's what the original was made out of and the other is the out of plywood. You can get the hardware online or at an RV parts place.

I was thinking the same as Maggie about easy to make one or you could use a small folding table or TV tray.

It fits on portable legs that go into the floor in front of the jack knife couch.
It's the principal of the thing!
Anyway, he promised to get the table before, then suddenly he's acting differently.

Hey, always remember that you do not have to buy if they don't want to make a good deal. There are other rigs out there, you just need to keep looking.

Thanks for that excitement!

But I still have to go through financing, and there's a chance I'll lose it there :(

I'm working out the down payment, and all that still. I'm just in the deposit-so-they-don't-sell-it stage.

I'm trying to stay positive, though!
