Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good morning all! :D

Duh, I realized I still have Dawn's phone #, so I gave her a call & all is well! :P She said lotsa rain has kept lotsa of campers away, but she's safe, loving her "job," & keeping busy as usual, come rain or shine! Just thought I'd pass that on, since many (including myself) were asking :)

Oops, pardon me! I keep forgetting that full-timers do things differently--guess it would be impossible practically to go without using your fresh water tank. Yep, being a part-timer, I wonder about water that's been sitting in there for weeks between uses--not to mention I bought mine "used" & wonder how "clean" the previous owner kept it??? Definitely no "offense" taken, Anita--& really great to see you back :P :P :P

Much cooler here today & looks like a week of "spring" weather coming up. Hope y'all are enjoying the same. Have a great day & safe travels always. (Ava, I see you're online too :) --dang early for you in AZ!!! On the road yet???)

Good Morning,
About to leave the campground, around 10 to avoid as much of the rush hour traffic as possible. This has been my maiden outing in Miss Kitty to a RVing Women gtg. So much advice and friendship, I am overwhelmed. This is my third day of retirement and full timing. I am bursting with happiness. Hope all is well with everyone .

Louise, it's great to wake up and read that someone is "bursting with happiness"!
That is one incredible way to start your day!

Glad you have your first "outing" under your belt.

Have been busy working in NM, exploring the state, meeting new friends, soaking in the springs , tubing down the Rio Grande and being happy.

Today is no work, so will tackle my to-do list.
Decided to make my dinette into a couch. Added a foam topper, a paisley coverlet, pillows, small folding table and an old fashioned bed tray with side pockets to hold my electronics, etc. Love it!
Have a great day all.

Good Morning ladies,

Joan, where's the pictures of the new bed? Carol, sounds like life is going well at you end. Louise, isn't it nice to have the first trip under your belt. Now for more adventures. Glad all is well with Dawn as I too have been wondering.

Gonna be a busy day here today. Outside chores to do. So much rain has resulted in my grass growing like weeds, well, it's mostly weeds anyway  Gotta mow later after it dries. Had just a touch of a little frost last night, but I covered my flowers up, so they are fine. Now they are enjoying the morning sunshine.

My friend is moving right along with her TT projects. Got her bunk back in place and is going to start the 2nd phase of the project. I asked her to send me some before and after pics and maybe I can post them for you, som those with bunks can have some idea what she is doing. I hauled up the stuff I took out of my old TT yesterday and went through it to see what all I had. It's all stacked up in my mud room for now and the rest is in the garage, where it's been since I put it there. Just waiting now. I looked at some pictures on a dealers website last night of the one that I am getting and if the upholstery that's in that one, is what I am getting (2014 model and different from the 2013), I will be making a trip over to the reupholstery gal here for a remake. I don't care for the pattern that's in there. But will see what my dealer ordered. But when I get it, I will take before and after pictures for you.

Gotta run along now. Tessa needs some more of her meds, I have a couple of places to go and also put out my weekly trash. Have a nice day all.

Good morning all. I was trying to change a picture in my signature, to no avail. But I then noticed the date I joined the forum was May 31 last year. Boy, the year sure flew by. I went from a RV wanna be asking a gazillion questions and now on RV 2.0. (5th wheel for 4 months and MH for 4 months now). 7 trips in an RV. Went to RV boot camp. Went to 2 official GTGs, had several mini GTGs, hosted members in my driveway. Have a travel blog. And the best part? All the friends I've made through this forum. The ones I have met and the ones I have yet to meet :P Can't wait to meet as many as possible!! This is such a great forum. Y'all gave me the confidence and support.

Everyone have a fun and safe day. Aloha y'all

good morning ladies
yep, up way early waiting for coffee in the office, walk the dog etc. Of course I didn't sleep well but that is to be
expected and I know when things settle down and I'm back on track it will all change. There IS a good nights sleep
in my future, I just know it. So I googled and mapquested the service center that has my car. Its only .7 of a mile
down the road so guess I can walk that. They don't open til 8 so just about 7:30 I'll get started on my hike to get the
keys over to the guy. There were many good reviews on the internet and all folks like me, on the road with a breakdown.
Makes me feel little better that I won't get ripped off. Well, I'm sure you know the feeling, ya just never know when a
service center is going to take advantage of your predicament. Hopefully it will be a little warmer by the time I start
walking. I'm sure to the locals here the temps feel comfortable but my blood is thinned out from the desert and it
feels downright cold to me and I couldn't get warm enough in the bed, had the heat turned way up too. My jackets in
the car but at least I have my little hoody sweater so I'm ok.
Maggie continues to amaze me. When we went out the door this morning she acted like she was looking for my car and
started whining. Another time when we stopped at a rest area and walked around she saw a big pitbull somebody was
walking and instantly wanted back in the car, standing up on her hind legs waiting for me to get the door open. She
sure doesn't like pitbulls.
Dinner last night was pizzahut and of course breakfast this morning. All my other groceries are in the car.
Ok, gotta run back up to the office for more coffee, catch ya'll in a little while.

Morning! Sue - frost??!?!?!? No, not that! I want cooler temps but I still want to be able to wear shorts - LOL! And some day, I'm going to re-upholster my cushions and cornice boards.

Counting down the days to my two trips - one is in less than 2 weeks to see my niece in Atlanta. She's in a community theater play and that's opening weekend. Then in less than 3 weeks I'm headed for MI!

Good morning all! Yesterday was a busy day with the road run downtown. I never saw my Grandson in all the crowd!!! He did phone me after the run and said he finished!!!

It is fun to walk around with all the visitors to the downtown area. My dog, Casey, did well in the crowds. I've had her for 7 years now, and she has made BIG improvements. From a scared, beaten, kicked young dog, to a calm older dog with my loving care! Yes, I'm bragging. I've had lots of help from dog trainers too!!

Cool here...no one out at the swim pool yesterday.

Good to hear all are safe in OK. lyn

Carol, thanks for checking on Dawn. All those tornadoes are so scary.

Louise, my first gtg with RVing Women was in 2008 and I still see some of the friends I made several times a year. I had been looking for a group to camp with for a long time and I was so happy to find them. If you are on the road check and see if there are any rallies you will be near. We recently had a rally in Louisiana and a lady from Canada stopped by.

Joan, I was wondering how you were liking your job. Sounds like you are having a great time.

Ava, hope your car problem is a quick and cheap fix. Hope they will get you on the road fast.

Think I will shampoo the rest of the carpet in the living room. I did part of it a few days ago and it looked good. Not sure the area in front of DH's chair can be helped much.

Good Morning
How exciting that so many are on the road.
Got hit with a really nasty squall line late Saturday - winds in excess of 70 mph knocked down trees and power lines. Lightening struck 2 houses starting fires plus it got a sub station. Power has been restored across the TN Valley and there were no injuries. Very fortunate.
Of course I just had my gutters cleaned and the yard pretty well picked up last week. Looks like a disaster again - lots of limbs, small branches and leaves everywhere. No energy for cleaning it up yet; I'm going to need some help with this one.
Doctor appointment this afternoon and bills to pay so nothing all that interesting to report.
Wishing all a great day.

Got up early for my eye doctor appointment. Need to get new glasses for sure.

It is a gorgeous day @ 65 degrees and sunny with a light breeze. Want to go for a bike ride but my eyes are still dilated so need to stay inside for awhile until they get back to normal. Then golf this afternoon. Perfect day for that!

Sounds like everyone else is feeling good and having a good morning! Ava, I hope you get back on the road soon without too much damage to your pocketbook!

My stomach is growling so I think I will go find something to eat. Have a great day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

My boring job is sorting out the cabinets under my sink in my bathroom... what on earth was I thinking when I bought so much make up!!! at least everything is out and now with a critical eye I will finish sorting...
Nice temps here in the 60s ... the man that mows my lawn was done before 8 am... he is way behind so had to start early...
Back to sorting now...

Just hit noon here in AK. Sarah, you so remind me of why I don't want to have a home and all the headaches that go with it. I know there are headaches with my rv, but yard work ... yikes lol. And I know some who live for their gardens. So glad we all like/love different things, eh?

No cruise today. Had a wonderful one yesterday, though. Started out foggy, ended up with light rain, never saw the sun ... but that doesn't hurt us at all. The wildlife show (if they want to, and they did) and the glacier doesn't move. Actually got the furthest to the glacier yesterday, also. It was mid-July before we were getting anywhere near it last year. Should say anything, the ice fields can and do move daily and we could be stuck further back before you know it.

This afternoon I'm going to take a ride and see if I can find the any of the bear that Pam has been spying.

Well it is mid-afternoon here but I'm just getting a chance to sit down long enough to post. Elsie had to go back to have those batteries checked again. They hadn't figured out before I left for Obey River why they were going down over night when I wasn't plugged in so were going to try and trace down the drain. Then I was off to yoga which was a waste of time & $$ as they had a sub that was so incompetent that I was surprised they let her attempt to teach a class. I came home and made a strawberry/rhubarb crisp to work off my frustration :D Now I need to take a long walk to work off those calories but it was soooo good right out of the oven with vanilla ice cream. Just got back from my afternoon coffee and met more bikers pedaling their way across country. The ones I have met so far seem so nice. There is a bicycle repair place in town where most of them stop and the owner tells them the coffee place is best place in town to eat and of course get coffee.
Louise i am so happy you are officially retired and at the RV women GTG!! I have been wondering when you would be free, congratulations :!: :!:

Barbie I really like your new avatar!
