Minor setback

at least I hope so..........

Springer NM, and the tow truck came from Raton to take us back to Raton. Spending the night at a motel 6, not very nice but
it was cheap and its clean. The guy can't look at it until tomorrow so I'll probably be here tomorrow night too cause check out time is noon and I'm sure the car won't be done by then. My guess is ...alternator and thank god it stranded me in a safe place
off the highway. I knew something was wrong and headed into Springer as I was told there was a dealer there but ...its
Sunday and the town is closed up tight except one little market and one resturant. Took 2 hours for the tow truck to get there
and then the poor guy loaded my pertinant duffelbag, dog kennel, food etc etc onto his tow truck and dropped me off at
motel 6 which is across the highway and really not walking distance. And guess who has the keys....ME. Gonna have to call
the shop first thing in the morning and see if they can come and get the keys. 5 hours out of Denver :( Lets just hope its
an easy fix and nothing really serious.

Not fun!!! I'm so sorry this happened, Ava. Very glad you're safe, though!

Heck, Ava. That's no fun!
As others have said, at least you're safe & it's fixable. Praying that it's not too expensive & that you're back on the road tomorrow.
