Sandi, I know exactly what your talking about. Use to be that they needed us now we're just old. My daughter wanted me to move cross country to be near, 2000 miles and 8 years later she might talk to me once a month. She doesn't care what I do or where I go and doesn't even think to ask, its all about her and her husband. I want to feel needed and I don't so I guess I just get up and move on with the life I have left. I care where you are even though I don't know you I would love to RV with you anytime!

Thank you Jeanine. Hopefully someday we'll be able to meet up on the road somewhere. I'm finding a wonderful family here that seems to be slipping away at home. That's what I'm going to have to do - get back on the road! Where do you live?

It's the first destination on my dream trip. I moved to Texas from the Bay Area, so I'll start south of SF and make my way north. You're invited to caravan if you want or just meet up for coffee and talk. I'm not sure when it will happen, sometime between July and September, but I'll be sure to contact you when it does.

You're on Nikki. Just let me know when you'll be in the area. I live in the East Bay Tri-Valley area. I didn't see your name on the list of attendees at the West Coast GTG in Oregon in Sept. Are you heading in that direction? It's going to be a good GTG. Last year's was wonderful.

I'll have to admit to occasionally doing the pity party when I try to get a hold of the kids and none of them
answer their phones....nor return the call. The thought will wonder through my head well they sure don't
want to know what is going on ect and then there are other times that I hear from them lots..one daughter
almost daily and they are on FB so think if I didn't post something even if it was a just shared post that they would start to
wonder right now I am at my dd's house well parked in her 'side yard' ought to figure out the way to post pictures and show you
my parking spot for the summer. They do know the general way I'm headed although will admit when I was over heated
on the less traveled road coming north I wondered if something happened how they would find me
They do have their lives just as I have mine but there needs to be that common ground as well
Sandi been going to ask did you make it to Tuscan? and was the rest of your trip what you hoped for?

Glad you reminded me. I hadn't thought about it. I think it will be a case of "if I make it, I make it. If not, not." Right now I can't imagine having any definite plans at all. That could change.

I keep in regular contact with my two daughters via text, phone calls, email and FB. If we don't contact each other for a few days, one of us reaches out.
When I started my travels again, the kids were worried about me. First night out they couldn't reach me -no cell or internet. My DD called the SP office! Glad to know they care so much.
