Echo, I'm excited for you too on your "sorting". As for the hair, it took me about 9 months to get all of the "color" to grow out. Now I'm a natural...mostly silver!

Campfire feels good...it's flurrying out here this morning.

Stopped by the campfire to warm up while I wait for it to warm up here. Will be another beautiful day here. Funny thing, I prefer summer, fall and spring here - I think Mexico would be a better place to winter. Yep, I like it warm warm warm lol - and summer here isn't bad with the breezes off the ocean. Haven't had a day yet, as nice as they are, during the winter where I'd be willing to go out to the pool. Ok, enough complaining - and this campfire does feel so good.

Thanks to all of you who keep the fire going. And the beer stocked. Too early for me now - just having juice and warming myself by the wonderful fire.

well I DID stop by last night before I went to bed but when I hit submit, my post
went bye bye and it logged me off, I was too tired to do it over so......here I am
relaxed and enjoying the fire. I had a wonderful visit with my sister and I got an
invitation to come up and visit and was even told they have a 30 amp plug for me
to plug r in. How cool is that! It was so much fun getting acquainted again not to
mention the many places we went. I still have posts to put together of some of
the other stuff we did. All in good time though. It was certainly nice to see Barbz
in her kitchen this morning and Carol, wayyyyyyyy down there in Mexico, my sister
is envious and full of questions but told her I'd send her the website link.
So many new members lately, how cool and one of them right here in my area, well, sorta
in my area, at least only a couple hour drive.
So my brother in law laughs at me being a chatterbox, I guess I am cause there are
times I get so excited to say things I just don't stop. Feel like I have to say it in
all one breath, so, do I type that way?
Well, I'm off to do a little surfing on the tv, relax in bed and enjoy the evening. Its
back to work tomorrow. nighty night

Ahhhhhh nothing better than a campfire and friends!!!

Well I have to admit that I am thoroughly proud of myself. Except for getting Tracy over here to go thru my dragons I have gotten all my stuff I had planned, done. WooooHoooo!!! House looks pretty dang good. Laundry is done, all folded and put away. Best of all I have found the top of the kitchen table again! It was missing under all the stuff that gets dropped and left on it. Everybody drops and leaves stuff on it and then complains to me about the mess. ??? Duh!! Guess who cleans it off? First 2 guesses don't count. I am pleasantly tired and I figure I have earned a coffee with Baileys in it! As a matter of fact I have filled my thermos with it. hehehehe

From the sounds of it most everyone had quite the day.

Opps better throw a couple of hunks of wood on the fire so it'll last a bit longer.

Ahhh, Ava? Yeah sometimes you type that way too. LOL But that's ok, I think we all do lots of times.

Built me a wood fire here in my stove this morning, and here are some extra logs to throw on here to keep this cheery fire going!

Came out to check the fire and put on some more wood. I really liked the compact floor plan and the price on the PW. When I see one with a neat layout it always makes me think.....if I went ven smallerr I could...... But then i think of how many times I have to speak to the furry ones to move as I move around the 22ft C that I have and try to remind myself that I reeally did research and think about space when I got it. I now am back to thinking how to carry a kayak on back. I had one on the ladder once, might have to try it with this on also. My daughter is doing a lot of camoing rock climbing and kayaking. Maybe the GHL can at least manage a campfire back at camp for them while they climb. I will probably decline the whitewater escapades....

Had my two Wisdom Teeth out this morning. Feeling fine now. Nice meds help. It wasn't a bad day to dose on the couch between watching Washington happenings. Only down side was the $600 + I had to leave at the oral surgons. I don't have to tell you guys how much traveling gas that would have worked out to be!

And I do send a teacher's prayer off every time one of you say you are heading off to school (especially in the cold.) I remember the early morning walk from the parking lot, I usually was one of the 1st in the building in the morning (My mind never could work as well after being ON all day ). So it was early and dark and cold......I did love the kids though, and the chance to teach the adult assistants teaching skills that worked.

So here I go to find something for dinner. Dr. orders are for mushy stuff for tonight. I already had some of the ice cream "medicine" that the doctor specifically suggested was go for teeth extractions. I will probably have to have another med pas on that before bedtime.

Ouch on the teeth extractions. I remember when I had my wisdom teeth out the dentist told me to bite on wet tea bags....hmmm, don't remember why. Ice cream sounds like a lot more fun.

I registered the PW today and washed the exterior. It was pretty clean, but I want to add a nice wax so was wanting it to be very clean. Now here's a stupid question (I know there aren't any, but I feel like I should already know this): My Roadtrek had a switch to turn off the gas as when fueling. The PW doesn't. There's a valve next to the propane tank that is probably what I need to turn, but I don't want to go turning any valves if I don't know if it's the right one. Forgot to ask the previous owner. He delivered it to me with the gas apparently turned off. Anybody know?

Having wisdom teeth out is tough. Even tougher is having both your kids having them out the same summer, one in Colorado where he was in college, and the other here at home. Had to pay for both at the same time. East coast was more expensive but not by much. Feel better soon.

Liz, congrats on the new rig! I just know you and Roe are going to love the extra space. Now you gotta change your sig!

Morning at the campfire....Burrrrrrrr, it's cold for everybody........so have built the fire up with some big logs and re-filled Barbzeee's coffee pot for everyone here.....got a pot of oatmeal hanging over the edge of the fire.....help yourself.... Also shoveled the snow away for those coming from the frosty North....so you can get close to the warmth... Got my chair, waiting to hear the latest....

Liz, I would say that yes, that valve will be to turn on and off the propane flow. No manuals? Contact the manufacturer maybe. Hope that helps.

Liz, I turn off anything that would have a pilot on - as that's the main concern. So, basically while traveling, when I go to fuel, I just need to turn off the fridge. Was told that even if I go turn off the valve at the tank, it would be no different as all the propane in the lines would still be in the lines - and the only thing that is on for me while traveling is the fridge. Might be different in different rigs - and don't you love how we answer these questions in any thread? lol -

When I had the Class A I never turned my Propane off. Didn't blow up..was I just lucky? I remember I had an enormous Propane tank, one of the built in ones. Is that different?

It's an explosive topic on many forums, though - those that say to not run fridge on propane while driving, etc etc - let's hope it stays explosive online and not on the road
