A get together in TN, and lots of things to see and do.

You keep wearing Thistle out! Love it.

Been following your blog and want to thank you for taking us along on your journey. One day, and hopefully in the not to distant future, it will be me sharing my adventures. I was surprised at the Arches in one of your last posts. Seen the Arches in the west but had no idea there were some in the eastern part of the country. It is so encouraging to see what you gals are doing out there and helps to make it more of a reality for us wannabees.

Stay safe and have fun

Enjoyed following you through the east TN sights. Pall Mall is a favorite destination for me. Been to York's home and gravesite a couple of times. It's such a lovely laid back area. Hope you got to stop in at the old country store. Their fudge is to die for. Thanks for the travelog.

Great blog post Liz, thank you. I think the picture of Thistle sitting up so straight like he is watching everything is one of the cutest ever! I was surprised how black your eyes were the last day I was there you had hardly any bruising! Hope you are healing.

Liz, I too enjoy reading your blog. Your writing and photography are both so well done. I'm curious about how you plan your trips. Also, do you full time and are you traveling alone?

I full time and travel alone, but do meet up with the sisters here whenever possible. This year, my plan is to go to New England (to spend time with my sister). When planning a trip that has a destination in mind, I study my atlas for possible routes with interesting places to see along the way. Then I look up those points of interest on the Internet to find out more. Since I'm retired, I can stop and spend a few days somewhere as I want. I'm really enjoying this leisurely way to travel.

Thanks for responding, Liz. You and Beth have me thinking about going full time. Who knows?
