More from Huatabampito

Huatabampito is little Huatabampo - Huatabampo means "willow near the water" bampo = water. Lots of towns around here are named with the bampo ending. Thought I'd put in a map of where we are - not real clear but will give you some idea

another view - from the restaurant

Same view at night
Image
some of the houses down the beach - most seem to be abandoned - had lots of storm damage a year or so ago
Image
lots of sea shells here - found a real neat bright yellow half clam? shell
Image
Bill flying one of his kites Alfie and Willie in background

"Do you have any more cookies?" DH loves to feed the seagulls
Image
Driving into Huatabampo the other day - sharing the road. There was a herd of cows too but my camera was off

Will try to post some pictures of Alamos - took over 200 while there.
Today is cloudy, it was raining this a.m. when we woke up. Internet is being snotty - off and on. So hope this makes it.

Yep, your post made it! Hate a snotty internet, have the same thing here. Tried 3 times to post something yesterday so I finally gave up. Love your pics. The one with the chickens in it, I could tell there had been some cows thru there. What a view from the restaurant! :D Always look forward to seeing your pics, I feel like I get to experience it with you guys!

Oh, such great pics and I like that you gave us the map to show where you are. Further south than I had been picturing. Next year I hope it'll be me doing this journey - and will be much easier cuz I'll be able to trace your steps.

Don't get excited these are mostly the same pictures but I wanted to see if this worked
right click on link - open in new window - click on any picture to see slide show - if anyone trys this let me know if it takes a long time to open - it did for me but my internet was going on and off.

Opened right away for me, and clicked and got pic right away - but it's not set up as a slide show - you have to use the arrow keys to see each picture (which I'm ok with also).

Great pics...love the slide show. I actually prefer to control how fast I see the pics...gives me more time to drool.
