I am new to RVing but not camping

Hi there,
My name is Shelly. I am 51 yoa and am finally going to be getting back into the outdoors! My partner is not much of a camper, so she said if we were going to do this, there would be no tents and sleeping on the ground.....so last Friday we bought a new Serento V-6 and then went looking at a trailer. We found just the right one! Perfect for us! But.....we have to wait until the first if the year before we can purchase it. You know those pesky bills have to get paid first....dang it! But, that gives us time to get all of our duck in a row and not rush anything. This August I am going tent camping by myself in Zion NP. And yes, Ellen will not be joining me....she is going back east to her families and eat crab. That's fine cause I will be cooking over and open fire everyday!!! We are both lucky!
Any way, I am glad to be apart do this group. I look forward to seeing what all of this brings!

Oh by the way, I live out here in Las Vegas. There are a few places out in my neck of the woods to camp. But I prefer the trees to the desert. Thank you for the nice welcome! This is going to be fun. Oh and can someone tell me why I can't add my avatar?

LOL - i pretty much figured (and hoped) that's where you were trying to add your avatar!! I was hoping to get an idea of what you might have been trying so I could steer you in another direction that might work.

When you put in your "link" offsite, it cannot have the IMG codes. It should only have the external link (starting with the http:// stuff).

A big Texas welcome to you and Ellen. To put pictures on the forum you need to put your stuff on Photobucket first. Go to the technical thread and search for avatar. Mitch forgets that the rest of us don't speak "techy" very well and she needs to lead us with small words and short sentences.

Welcome Shelly. There are complete instructions on pictures including avatars in the maintenance tech room where some of us have tried to guide people and Mitch does pictures and everything. But as she said, it's really hard to answer a question when we don't know where you're having the problem. Like, to start with, where is the picture? What size is it? What have you tried? But preferably take this to that other forum and people will help you figure it out.

Shelly, go back to BOARD INDEX and scroll down (about 1/3 of the way) until you see MAINTENANCE/TECH ISSUES. Instructions are in there. But come back here if you don't find what you need.
