I do the towel thing, too. The one made by Camco actually had some rubber stuff on the back so it would stay without sliding.

One of my nephew's moms said her partner wanted to buy a motorhome but didn't want one with any rattles because she cannot stand to drive with rattles. Told her there was no such thing! Glad Winnebago got this right, though.

I bumped into one of the electrical engineers for Fleetwood in the parts building. I told him I would be happy to participate in any focus groups they had for women drivers of RVs. I pointed out to him that I was 5'1" and could not reach the ceiling lights without standing on my toes and hopping up and down, and that they needed wall switches for short folks like me or children. He said they put wall switches in the Class As, but always assume people in cheaper models (Class Cs) could get a stool, but he admitted that dragging around a stool was not very convenient. I told him stools were also tripping hazards. Glad to get my 2 cents in anyway.

I hope the lady that can't stand rattles tries one before she buys one or gets some ear plugs. My motorhome is so noisy I can't hear on my cell phone, not that I should be on my phone going down the road.

We could really give the engineers an ear full. Their heads would be spinning.

I do what Paulette says - as I like to get some magnets of some places I've been - and keep them on the stove top. Have so many that I have to change them out occasionally. And the little towels I use are always right there for me to dry dishes with (well, usually to set the dishes ON to dry, let's be honest!) I use those really thin silicone (I think silicone) cutting boards ... came 4 to a package. When one gets crummy, I toss it. But I do have a cutting board that fits over my sink. Don't use it without the other any more. I'm too anal about cutting boards and keeping them clean/sanitized, etc. But that's just me ... and funny, because I am not the worlds best housekeeper. Guess we all have some idiosyncracies, eh?
