When I looked at them this morning on my laptop they were big, but personally I like that so I can see them better. I'm on my iPad now & they are smaller.

They were bigger when I posted them yesterday. The size they are now is the size I thought they would be. I don't remember exactly, but I sized them at 400 x whatever the default is on photobucket. The mysteries of technology. Or the resizing fairies. It's all good.

Nikki, would you mind if I moved this to the show off your RV room? I think it fits better there.

You're right. I've wished it were there. Thanks Beth for all your hard work on the forum.

Thanks, Nasoosie.

Work started on Betsy today. The couches are out and the bathroom gets attention first. Everything off the wall; I've taken pictures and labeled bits and pieces, so everything goes back to where it belongs. The grey in the ceiling/header fabric pulls red, so the "neutral" paint looks pink near the ceiling, but the yellow in the new vinyl pulls more neutral. After two trips to the paint store, adding green to knock back the red undertones, I think it might be there. If not, there's always tomorrow. I won't be so picky about the rest of this project, but Betsy is tiny, so the wall color has to be something I can live with. I can't live with pink walls. Oh! The reason there's reddish paint in the first place is that my professional housepainter neighbor donated a gallon of very expensive, industrial strength paint. Doing all the color adjustments is free, so all this fidgeting is worthwhile so far. There will be pictures as soon as I pick a color and get some paint on the walls. In the meantime, Betsy looks just like she did in the last pictures, minus the couches. This is kinda fun.

I spend a little time on the project every day. It took me a while to pick paint colors, but the result is a taupe, blue, and cream combo. It looks like the wall board will accept the paint very well. Most of my time has been spent taking things off walls. Lots of screws to unscrew. I'm hoping my neighborhood genius handyman guy will tell me how to take the bathroom vanity countertop out and refurbish it. I got one of the mirrors off the wall, but the other is on there for good! A frame might work to fix it up. I've seen something like that on DIY shows. The cabinets over the couches (or where the couches were) have these odd fabric covered bumpers on the ends.I'd like to take them off but might have to be satisfied with recovering them. One of the pics shows the damage I've done so far. Maybe someone is interested in pics of the progress. Like I said, lots of unscrewing of stuff, so not much to show. For some reason this work creates lots of anxiety for me, so sessions are short. That said, I'm really enjoying it. It's so rewarding to think I can do something new. I'm not really your screwdriver sorta gal. At least not in the past. Now I love my screwdrivers.

The pictures are huge in the preview, even though I resized them and saved the new version. I think it might take some time for Photobucket's server to recognize the change. At least it sometimes worked that way in the olden days of IT.

Thanks, Vicki. Right after I posted the last pics, my neighbor helped me pull the countertop in the bathroom. I planned on doing new laminate myself, but he might have a scrap of Corian in his shop. If so, he's offered to cut it for me and donate it to the project. Tomorrow I paint the bathroom. I'll have a new countertop by end of the week.

So here's a pic of where the bathroom countertop used to be.

I'm really impressed with the scope of your renovations. It's going to be beautiful, and it's fun to watch the steps you go through to get there.
