My Mothers Day gift.

Postby Marslet » Tue May 14, 2013 10:16 am

Well ladies, I got my wish. Guess who is sleeping in my 3rd bedroom??? Yep, it is Savannah and her mom . They came to spend 10 days with Nana. I am over the moon. She is walking now and into everything. So funny to see her little personallity starting to develop. Heck I didn't know 14 month olds knew the word NO and how to use it. But she sure did try to use it on her mama last night.  I just sat back and snickered. That old saying, Payback is a b---h, is gonna come in full force with this one.
Will try to post some pictures a little later on.

Thanks Soos and Ava for reading my post and replying. It is always good to hear from friends that I share my joys with. She is cuter this time than the last time. And so full of herself, just walking everywhere  Gonna hate to see them go home next Wednesday. :x

It is great that both of them can get away and come visit. Kids grow so quickly.....

Yes, those sweet little ones are very special....Miss Ava has been here in the last couple weeks telling me how she's growing up cause she's in kindergarten and doing lots of things....We went fishing and once she gets the hang of setting the hook, she'll catch her 1st trout....

Savannah sure does sound like she has Grandma around her little fingers....and yes, paybacks are our pleasure to watch.... ;)

Now, how about those photos??? Can't wait to see how much she has grown.... ;)

Oh yes..waiting for more pictures of that little cutie! Love the stories about her little attitude. While I don’t have grandchildren yet I used to pray that my oldest would have a child just like him. Let’s just say he started the terrible twos at about 13 months….and finally outgrew them about the time he graduated from high school. Then one day I had one of those “oh crap” moments and realized that if my wish came true I would end up baby-sitting for the terror!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

So glad you are getting some " grandma" time. Those little feet leave a 'forever imprint on our hearts'.
