Agenda for the PA GTG: This GTG is usually "plan as we go" event. So things are always "in jello"....Normally, discussions on activities occur either at the evening campfires or Morning coffee gatherings.....but here are things available to do....Of course, there's the ferryboat to ride, kayaking, canoeing, rent a golf cart to enjoy, miniature golf, bike rides, if you have a bike, winery tours, and yes, just plain old sitting around and chatting..... ;) The campground, itself, has planned weekend theme to participate in.....

So, this is what we'll do.

June 27th.....Arrival day Campfire - Since Irmi & Steve (the Assistant Sultan), Ernie (The Sultan) and I will already be there, we'll host a Welcome Supper at the campfire, so don't worry about eating when you get there....we got ya' covered....this will give you time to set up and chill.....(Note to Irmi: I'll call you on menu details.... ;) )

June 28th & 29th....Morning Coffee at the campfire.... Now, if someone would like to host breakfast on the 28th or the 29th, please let me know, but right now we'll plan on coffee and what ever you prefer for breakfast... ;) At this time, if we haven't all ready talked about the night before, we'll decide the day's activities. We can have our Pot Luck Supper either day..........We'll have the "banner signing" on the 29th... :D

June 30th....Safe Travels Breakfast - Usually, at this time, everyone has "leftover" breakfast stuff, so bring what you have, but we'll be sure to have something for your tummies before you hit the road.. ;)

If you have any questions, or would like to host a breakfast, please PM me.....And don't forget to let me know your site # when you make your reservation....With my "iffy internet" I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

This is going to be loads of fun and friendship...can't wait to see ya'll.... :D ;)

Plans sound great, and lots of fun, but unfortunately I think I'm going to miss it. After the Syracuse Rally I will spend a little time in the Adirondacks and then head to Massachusetts to spend time with my sister. I'll be looking forward to reading about it, and will see you somewhere again.

I visited ferryboat campsites yesterday and booked site #235 arriving June 23 leaving June 30. It looks like a great small and friendly campground. I can hardly wait for this to happen and to meet new friends. I will be traveling with my small dog Toby.

I saw about the arrival dinner, let me know if I can help and I would like to host the breakfast on the 28th. Do we do meals in the pavilion or at campsites?

Lori, are you now in the Gettysburg/ Lancaster area? If so it's only an hour from me and I would love to meet both you and Ernie I can bring lunch some day.

Liz, when will you be in the Adirondacks? I will be leaving here June 1st or 2nd, so plan to stay at my place if you wish, as soon as I get back there!

Soos...hope you can make it down for the GTG....and remember, we're on the way North via I-81 and US 15, if you need an over-night on the way home.... ;)

Let me see if your place would be a good overnighter----how far off 81 are you? I could drop off the banners while I stop there! would love to meet you, too! Will not be able to afford the trip back for the GTG, however----mine will have to be on the way home if it's not too far off the route? What's the name of your place again? I will check my maps.

Soos, Taking I-81 N in PA, exit Chambersburg, PA # 16 (I think  ) turning right onto US 30/Lincoln Way Hwy East.....to PA Route 234 West. (which is at the top of the hill past Caladonia State Park.) After making the left hand turn onto PA 234, follow this road to Conewago Campground which is on the left(about 4-5 miles from US 30). According to Ernie, it's about 15 to 20 miles from I-81 total. And yes, dropping off the banner would save postage..... ;)

Just let me know...
