It was cool here but not in the thirties like yesterday and starting tomorrow much warmer with humidity.
My little guy is much better. He suddenly jumped up late Sunday afternoon and started racing around like nothing had ever happened. Now to keep him quiet until he gets the stitches out Friday or Sat. I on the other hand may take a few days to recover.
Need to get a lot done today though, my new wardrobe I'm having built should be ready soon so need to get my old dresser cleaned out, as it's already sold and the room ready.
Thinking of Carol as Tigg goes for his surgery tomorrow, hope all goes well.
I started selling on eBay again and my old iPhone 4s sold for $356.00!!! They offered to give me $100.00 for it at the AT&T store as a trade in for a different iPad....
Everyone on the road have safe travels.

GOOD MORNING FROM ORLANDO--

Thank heavens for this cooler weather down here where it's been very hot (100+) and humid, and it's in the 60s so far this morning! I have pretty much decided to stay here until the first of June as the kids are leaving for a long trip to Mexico for the last week this month, and they would love to have me at their place to keep an eye on their kitties. Also, I could save them cab fare to and from the airport. After all, I have been using their electricity all winter down there, so decided I would grit my teeth and hang on another couple of weeks. I will try to get in as much swimming pool time as I can in the meantime.

It will be tricky for me to get all my stuff home without my truck camper topper, but no dealer down here has the size or style I need, whereas our dealer back home does have what I'm looking for. All the stuff I need to haul in the truck bed will have to go inside the trailer on the way home. Oh well....

Hope you all have a fun day wherever you may be.

Happy travels!

What a difference a couple of days makes. We had snow flurries 3 days ago and now today we will be in the low to mid 90's  . We are under an extreme heat advisory and a high fire advisory because of the dry air and high winds expected with the heat. Luckily it will be back in the 70's tomorrow.

Played golf last night and almost got a hole in one!!! :o The ball landed 2 inches from the hole! So exciting! Am playing really well with the new clubs I bought in CA.

My dad got his feeding tube put in yesterday and is doing well with that so far. I haven't talked to him since the episode the other night. He probably won't even remember that tho.

Soos, stay cool down there! Can you tie a tarp on the truck bed so you can put some things in there on the way back?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, since your Dad probably doesn't remember things for long, instead of arguing with him just agree with him. If he wants you to come get him just tell him you will be there in a little while.

My DH, who was in the hospital this time last week, is on the lawn mower. Guess he decided he was going to live. I need to put signs on the road for people to watch out for crazy old men. We live on a dead end road but there is some traffic. He will go on the road with the mower or 4-wheeler without looking.

Our weather is nice after all the rain last week. It will be in the low 80's all week. I need to go to town so will see how long I can put that off.

Just a quick note to say I'm well. Should be on the road already, but stopping with internet in Canada ... well, I just had to read everything! Probably won't do that again, just stop for a quick check on messages as I can and drive through cities where I can pick up wifi.

All's well ... nice little cg where I stayed last night. Have marked it down to remember.

Take care, have fun, and I'm ready to get myself on the road again.

I usually do just go along with whatever he says, but the other day I told him I would come get him "later" and he said he would meet me by the door in half an hour, and then apparently tried to get out of bed because I heard the nurse tell him he couldn't leave and to get back in bed, so I had to tell him then that I couldn't get him until he was better, so that is when he got angry.
