A chilly Good Morning to you all,

Yep, a little chilly here this morning, in the mid 20's, but heading to the 50's today and warmer as the week goes by. The snow from yesterday is gone.

Nothing to report from these parts for this morning. Hope all the Mothers out there had a wonderful day yesterday.

Judy, glad you like the site I suggested. If you want to stick aruond up there after Memorial Day, you shuld be able to do that with no problem at all. Tell school''s are out in Mid June, the parks are pretty empty. Burt Lake State Park, which is about 20 miles southwest from Aloha in Indian River, is another one you might want to check into if you decide you want a change of scenery. But even if I don't have a rig by the time you are up there, I will be up to visit with you anyway. I"m still in the hunt, but not going to grab the first thing that comes along, just so I have something. When it calls my name, I will know.

That Trail LIte that I posted the link to yesterday looks like a nic rig and somebody asked if I knew if you could walk around with the slide in. I haven't seen it in person, but I'm kind of thinking that the inside pictures are taken with the slide in and if that's the case, yes there is room. But I also would much rather have an MH where I can go out the door under the awning rather than have the door in back and the awning on the side. Like if is raining.......

Just tending to usual business around here today. Bank, store, vets office etc. My Backspace key has come off this computer and I am going to take it to the computer guru's up town to see if it can get put back one. I sure don't want to have to shell out for a new cmomputer right now, just because some of the keys are coming off.

So, with that, I am going to get my day rolling here. Wishing you all a wonderful day. If you are out on the road, happy travels.

Starting back toward Michigan this morning. We'll see how Ivy likes the road! The William viewed yesterday's packing with suspicion, and this morning he won't let me out of his sight. He doesn't want to miss a thing!

Good morning all! Hope everyone had a great moms day whether you're a mom or not. I Had an OK day yesterday. DH asked if I would like to go shoot pistols or shotguns (trap)! I selected Trap. However, my neck and shoulder just wouldn't let me shoot very many rounds. Very frustrating. Had a call or (Skype) from the kids and grand kids. Then had dinner. Restaurants are so crowded on Moms day, so I bought my favorite dinner and cooked. Grilled steaks, lobster and snow crab. And a new (to me) cocktail. Clear rum, 7up and pineapple sherbet. Yum.

Everyone have a good day. Stay safe. Aloha y'all

Good morning all! I started my new Gate House job this last week on Wednesday and haven't had much spare time between this job and my Camp Host job. I am working a lot of split shifts in the Gate House. Open as Volunteer and close as Gate House employee. Found out this morning the manager of the park in FL did not receive the application I sent last week. I re-sent to him this morning. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of being back in FL for the winter. 80 degree days vs 30 degree days. Hmmm, no brainer here. LOL.

I heard from Tahra early yesterday morning. Made my Mother's Day. I sure do miss seeing her and the girls often, like we used to.

Since I am off today and tomorrow, I am still sitting here in my PJ's drinking lots of coffee. I ordered more EZ Cup filters this morning from Amazon. Now that I know to grind my coffee really fine, like for Espresso, I am getting a good strong cup of coffee every time. I have been doing some reading about burr mills for grinding coffee. Does anyone use one of these? The burr mills are supposed to give you a better grind for a better cup of coffee. My grinder I use now is doing a good job, so I am just looking at this point. The burr mills are more expensive, so will have to think about this a lot. I am going to have to be really convinced the coffee is a whole lot better than grinding beans each day for fresh tasting cups of coffee each day that I get now.

I have so much housework and laundry to get done today and tomorrow! I had better get my rear in gear to get this done. I am going to go to the meat market today to buy a couple ribeye steaks to grill for Paul and me. Mike and Bev are making something pork and we are going to have dinner together tonight. There is a little casino on the way to the meat market and I am thinking of stopping in there for a few. Last week I took $20 and walked out with $40. Would like to do that again. Don't think it will happen again, but you never know. LOL. Wendy, you would love it. The Casino is only about 4 miles from here.

Hope everyone has a great day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Thursday through yesterday I was at the first rally for the new RVing Women chapter, Heart of Dixie. We really had a good turn out, 37. A few of the Texas members came, some all the way from Georgia and one lady from Canada that was passing through. I think someone even recruited a lady that was staying at the campground. The down side was the rain but it was a nice relaxing weekend. The next rally planned is for July 18-20 at Gadsden, Alabama.

My son gave me the best mother's day present, he stayed with his dad so I could go camping with my friends. My DH was in the hospital Tuesday and Wednesday for a procedure. I didn't feel like he should be here by himself. I had 3 days of no get me, find me, fix me. ;)

I think I will put my Ficus tree outside today. Surely we won't have anymore cold spells the middle of May.

Good morning all! :D

Hooray for you, Martha! So glad you got to the gtg while son tended to DH (hope he's recovering well from procedure)...Dawn! So great to see you--miss you, but having personally witnessed how busy you were in the "off" season, & now having more responsibilities, yikes!! Yep, no-brainer to get to FL for the winter  ...Red, on cloud nine skyping with DD in Korea :D ...Kathleen, such a great mom's day gift!...Louise, Donna, anyone else heading north? I'm not really "on the way" to Michigan, but I'm here if you make it to central NY???

Bro from MO is still here til Thurs a.m. & has been keeping me hopping. Today, he's with local bro, so I have a day to regroup. Took Tigg to the vet for his exam--surgery set for Wed. Then I'll leave Fri for my RT gtg with PeggyinCT & friends.

Cold here too--39 this a.m. but now at 46 degrees. Hasn't rained in 24 hrs, so I'm going out to mow. Y'all have a great day & safe travels always!.... :P
