Wishing all of you Mothers, Grandmothers, Greatgrandmothers and even the Mothers to Be out there, a very Happy and Blessed Mothers Day.

Our Mothers up here in Northern MIchigan are waking up to a different sort of Mothers Day

It's not unusual to see sme snow on Mother's Day, but it's the first time it's been like this in quite a while. And tonight they are predicting record lows in the mid 20's. Needless to say, my hanging basket of wavy pansies is sitting nice and snug in my breezeway. I don't plant any flowers here till after Memorial Day. Will buy a hanging basket or two casue I know I can always put them inside.

Not much on agenda here tdoay. Will go to church in a little while, pick up my Sunday paper and return home. Have been bummming a lot this past week, so time to curtail that for a bit. Did get to Traverse City yesterday and found a Microwave, a Panasonic. Works great, although a bit noisy compared to my old one. Had rain and rain mixed with snow, changing to snow and then out of it on the way back home.

I did read that poem that Mitch posted for Ava, and yes, needed a kleenex box. I think it hit home with me a bit hard too, cause all the time I was reading it, my mind was n this little ball of fur in the bed next to my computer table here, knowing that before long, it will be her that the poem will be for as well.

Seems like rain and chilly all over the east coast yesterday. Liz, hope it warms up and gets nice so you can enjoy your travels with out having to skip through the water puddles. CArol, glad you managed to get your grass cut between the rains. Soos, I love that truck as I said last night. BJ, I'm wondering if there is something else wrong with Toby, besides the meds. Maybe you should insist on an ex ray or something just to have them double check. For a dog to be in pain and having that much trouble, is not normal.

Browsing through Craigslist again yesterday, i cam across this http://nmi.craigslist.org/rvs/3780053740.html. Anybody ever have experience with one of these? Too pricey, too many miles?

Well, off to get ready for church. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good morning, and Happy Mothers Day to all
Trying to get caught up on laundry today but not doing much of anything else. For some odd reason, it seems
I've pulled a groin muscle and movement is a bit gaurded to say the least. Must have slept in some weird position
during the night cause I certainly didn't do anything physical to cause it during the day.
Got an email invite to a reunion in Colorado for July, all my old time work buddies from the old school bus barn.
I'm so excited about it, gonna put trip money away for it so I can go. It will be a two day drive, so one overnight
about halfway, (Albq.) Then, I'll see some other friends while I'm there too. :D Certainly something to look forward
to.
Grandson started his new job yesterday, he's quite happy with it.
Off to catch up on other stuff, ya'll enjoy the day.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there.

I am currently in Reno on my way to my summer job. I probably won't be checking up on everybody as often.

What a pretty snow field tree Sue... It is going to be a good day... coffee is hot and soon I will be going to church they will have baby dedication which brings back memories of getting my four children dedicated... my son in law invited me to lunch with them today...
The man came and mowed for me yesterday... one more bill to pay... ha ha ha never seems to end
I made dinner for the guys at Petes house... roast beef, potatoes, carrots, celery and onions... they love that when I make it... it used to be so easy but it took all my strength to make it... but it was worth it to see them enjoy eating chatting and laughing... my daughter and Shaelyn went to another bridal shower up north... the house is not going to be any near ready for them... re doing a house takes so much work... and they can only spend about 15 hours a week on it... I told them they could use BrIght hope while they are still working on it... Pete said that his cousin said they could park it at his house he would live in it and they could live in the house... he got a house last year and redid it... that makes three of the cousins that have gone in that direction... glad they have my son in law the remodeler to do it,,,

sending you smiles for this day

Good Morning !!! Happy Mothers Day everyone !!! The sun is out, its beautiful outside this morning, makes for great spirits. The only thing on my agenda today is to get things in the RV (back in) , make the bed up etc. for my trip next Sunday, not sure how long I will be gone, but thinking :o :? :) I have two days of trips into town next week, so I will enjoy doing what I can today for fun time that's coming up :D

Sue, I love that RV, it looks good too, like the micro being down like that, mine is up and I really pay attention when taking something hot out. The price is good, the miles I might wish were a little lower but if its been well cared for, oil changes and maintenance regular, would be a deciding factor. Sure a nice looking rig.

Ava, the reunion sounds like so much fun, good for you getting away for awhile this summer, especially to Co. as from your post, think you really like that state. I sure do, its beautiful and really a nice place to be in the summer. What area would you be going too?

Wishing you all the best of days, doing what makes you the happiest. Some fun is this day is required !!!

Stay safe everyone,
CArol :)

Smiling back at you Kathleen, have a really nice day with your family !!! PattyK, you snuck in on me, have safe travels to your summer job, which by the way sounds like the ideal place to go.

Sue, there is a thread on RV.net specifically about small class c/b+ rigs that was started by folks with these Trail-lites. Other small Class b+ owners have responded over the years. You use to be able to find in as a sub-topic under the Class C category. The folks that own/owned them really like what they got for the price they paid. They were never as expensive as some of the other manufacturers. And they like the size and the gas mileage. At that age and mileage only looking at the rig will tell you if it is a great deal. At least it is in Michigan....may be time for another road trip.

Happy Mothers Day everyone. Thought I'd post a picture of my little guy having breakfast in bed and the cute card DH painted me for Mom's Day if I can work the new Photobucket. He seems a little better.

Happy Mother's Day everyone.

Sunny but very cool and windy today.
Glad I didn't plant all the flowers in the pots as the lows overnight tonight and tomorrow night are supposed to be in the 30's brrrrrr. I'll wait until Wednesday, hopefully that will do it. I did manage to do a lot of the winter cleanup (weeding, edging and mowing) in the front yard (1/4 acre). I'll tackle the back this coming week.

Off on a short road trip today, going to check out ferryboat campsites. I always like to know what I am getting myself into when there are no pull-throughs. LOL

Good Morning and Happy Mother’s Day everyone! It’s a sunny 32° today! We supposed to be in the 90s by Tuesday. I don’t think we’re going to have Spring this year and go straight into summer. It’s been a busy weekend. Yesterday I helped out at the greenhouse for a while and last night we attended a 50th birthday party for one of my former students. I didn’t realize that he was 40 when he graduated…one of my former students can’t possibly be that old. It’s graduation at the school this afternoon and we have four parties to attend and this evening we have to go to a prayer service. I’m trying to catch up on laundry etc today. Mother’s Day celebration with my mom has been postponed until next Sunday. Have to go to a wedding in my home town next Saturday and will be there Memorial Day to help her decorate graves. So it was decided that rather me being on the road three weekends we’d cut it down to two. I haven’t heard from my children, but it’s early. Sean is already in the Black Hills for his summer job and the restaurant opens for the season today so I don’t expect to hear from him until later tonight. Ryan and Dennis are working in the fields and will hopefully get the corn planted today. It’s getting late for planting but the weather just hasn’t cooperated. I have a feeling I will be attending the graduation parties by my lonesome.
Sue the B+ looks nice. Only one question. Would you be able to walk from the front to the back of the rig if the slide is in? That’s just a me question because I would want total access to the bathroom facilities at all times!
Have a good day!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

BJ, I'm glad Toby's feeling better. And that's a darn cute card the kids got you!

I got a card this morning from Abby (through her Auntie Phyllie because Abby has a hard time typing with her paws...)

Sunny but unusually cool day here in TN Valley.
I had planned to try to check on Magic this afternoon but just talked to campground manager who said not yet. Should be able to get to the area where she is stored by tomorrow afternoon. That may be too late for the house batteries tho as it will be a full week +. I had food in freezer and fridge; probably a mess now. Just hope the batteries are not damaged.
Since I cannot go to the campground, need to find something else productive to do. I have wasted far too much time this past month with all this ear/dizziness problem. At least that seems to be a bit better today.
Happy Mothers Day.

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY TO ALL WHO ARE MOMS!

This is the third message I have typed and attempted to send this afternoon----nothing left to say as I am out of patience. But know I had a great day so far, and will attempt to write again tomorrow. Hope you all have a fun day, too.
