Wickham Park Campground GTG FL 04/30 through 05/07

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Just got off the phone with Donna who got up early and went to Wickham Park to check things out----good thing she did! There is a veterans' shindig going on there this week, and the place is closed to the public! However, they will open up again on Tuesday, April 30, and nobody has any reservations there for that entire following week yet. Sooooo.....Donna (Grammienmaggie) who lives just a few miles from the park, will go back there on that Tuesday, check things out, find good spots for us all, call me to tell me what's available and good, make her reservation, and then I will call any others who might be interested in camping for some fun time. We can all make our own reservations after that. How does that sound, everyone? I would put all this info in the GTG room, but many do not visit there regularly. I will do that after I hear from people who are likely to want to spend some time at Wickham Park in Melbourne, FL. Anyone in this area is welcome to come!

Actually that news is helpful for me as Amazon just emailed me that my order of new guitar strings and another tuner is due to arrive here on Friday, so now I will be here for that delivery!

Nice bright, sunny day here again today, so I will plan to relax some more, ride my bike, go shopping for dog food, and get some pool swimming time in. I may even go visit Sea World again a few more times.

You guys let me know which camp site you're in when you register so I can call and get one near you this time. I was stuck out in the boonies in Hillsborough just about, lol. Carrying that hot pot of chili over to the other area was difficult! 8-Dell

OK---I am in! I reserved my site (in a PM to you) from Tuesday, April 30 through Tuesday May 7th. Hurry if you are interested in getting anywhere near. I didn't choose Dell's favorite number site, but I am next to that one! And there is another next to that one, as well. I will not publish my site number on here as this is a public forum, but, when you call the park, you can ask the man for my name and site, as he knows I am looking for at least two other rigs to make reservations asap.

Things got started off today when Soos and Dell set up at Wickham...I will be
there tomorrow...cant wait..Maggie and I went over about noon and hung around until about
5 pm...then took of to dads ...so I can get the RV ready...fridge is cold so got all that in and the rest of my food so almost ready...I did make quick blog post with a couple pic so if you want to take a look..all for now
