I was going to bring a few chocolates some friends sent us from Harry and David but oops---we ate them all. Sorry!!! We do have some pears left and some cheese. They are all sooooo good!

Thought I would stop by the campfire and share a funny sight I saw today. As I was driving to the grocery, grumbling to myself about being out in the 10 degree weather, I noticed a lot of writing on the back window of the pickup truck in front of me. When it dawned on me what it said I was laughing so hard I could hardly drive. It was a personal ad!

SWM 59 looking for SWF for possible LTR call xxx xx xxxx, then underneath on the tail gait he had the phone number painted again in even larger lettering.

I should have given a translation to the ad.

It means Single white male 59 looking for single white female for possible long term relationship

Thought I'd stop by the campfire tonight and warm my hands. We're having winter this week in FL....it usually lasts two or three weeks. I'm all excited 'cause I hope to close the deal on the Pleasure Way tomorrow. My house is piled up with stuff I removed from the Roadtrek....amazing all I had in there. It's all clean and ready for a new owner and new adventures. I'll miss it, but I'm looking forward to setting up the "new" one and taking it on a shakedown cruise. Hope I don't have as many oops as I did the first time with the RT. (Set off security alarm I didn't know it had; dump hose was split and fell apart when I tried to use it, etc.)

Congratulations on getting your PW. I know you are excited. I'm glad I stopped by the campfire. It's warmed up in Indiana. Today was in the 20's, positively balmy after a high Thursday of 4 degrees. Where are my shorts and halter :o Cheryl

Does your RT have the macerator sewer pump? I was always curious as to how well that setup worked. That's one thing you'll have to do without in the PW.
I'm excited for you, Liz! Congrats on the purchase!

The Rt doesn't have a macerator pump....new ones do. I'll just keep doing it the old-fashioned way.

Holy smokes Liz!! I was stopping by for some quiet relaxation and bam! There was your news. Congrats on the new rig. Dang you move fast! Hope it's everything you are wanting and needing. Just don't forget your camera. Ohhhh? Don't forget to fix Belle up in a new nest in your new rig. Somewhere so that she can watch all the goings on.

My day was pretty good all in all. My kitchen almost perfect. Got the floors done, some laundry done, recyclables out the door, shoes picked up and placed in the bedrooms where they belong along with a few helmets, trash is out, supper cooked and eaten and now it's time to relax. Ahhhhhhh! It feels good. I think the nastiest job today was cleaning out the microwave. From the looks of it today everyone must have been having problems cooking in it this past week. The next nastiest job in the house is the oven. That's Kelly's job. I have stuff to do tomorrow of course. I will be starting my sorting out tomorrow and need to finish my laundry. But that's it. Oh, I do plan on helping out Mother Nature a little where the color of my hair is concerned. I am guessing that my natural hair color would be a dark blond? But I keep it a lighter blond. If I had the money to throw away, if I dared and didn't think it would look crappy if I didn't keep up with it??? I would go and have the color stripped out of my hair. I just want it to go white and get it over with. :D

Well I've got my coffee pot set up and need to set the timer for morning. But I'm tired out now. It's time to take Shade out for one last P and then my butt is gonna be in bed. Bet it don't take me long to go out! LOL

Hope ya'll have a wonderfully peaceful night. Ni Ni

CONGRATS, Liz!

And I sure would LOVE to buy your Roadtrek! Whoever gets that will be getting a rig that had a lot of good care. I have always LOVED conversion vans, and the Roadtrek is so much more than that. I could drive that to FL and park it in the driveway of my house down there. The homeowner's assoc. doesn't allow trailers, so can't do that with my TT.

Sigh! Can't I win a lottery, or when will they strike oil or gas on my MT and ND property!!

Have fun getting your new house-on-wheels all set up!

Happy travels!
