Good morning all! :D

Trying to catch-p still & wondering where all the MC peoples went? So I ven-chered over to Campfire & fownd several of them! Good to see they're still posting somewhere :P

Donna, I stayed at several WM's along the way & never had a problem. I'm a very small RV tho (17ft), so maybe I'm not too noticeable. Also, tho, I looked for other RV's of any type that were parked there. I aksed one RVer abowt "checking in" with WM mgmt. He said it was a waste of time since they'd have to go threwgh many levels to get the "okay." I decided the worst that coold happen is they woold ask me to move; if so, then I'd plead with them that I had nowhere to go & ask for a "waiver" for jst one night. Do yew think they'd "evict" a little old lady in the middle of the night????

I have another laptop with a "yew" key, so I need to get that readied!!! Also will continyew doing yard work today. It's to be warm, bt only 27 degress at 5:30 this a.m.!!!

Y'all have a great day! :P

Good morning Carolb and all...thanks for that WM info Carol...that is most helpfull
When I got up this am...figured I might as well take the RV to home park and get a spot
as I wanted to spend most of the day there...got there just before 630 with 5or 6 boats
launching to go fishing but I did get my spot...so happy about that...seen a couple yard sales in the neighbor hood today so will stop there before going back to the park...so guess that will be my day...have a great day and stay safe ;)

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

This is the latest of my father's roses which he planted in front of the house here about 30 years ago----I love to smell them!

Not sure what's on the list of to-dos for today, other than biking, walking, and swimming----tough life down here in the sun! There will be two of us camping at Wickham Campground in Melbourne next week, and Donna will be there on and off as she saves and packs for her trip back to PA soon. I am looking forward to getting in some beach time!

Carolb, what are MC peoples? Main Couples? Maine Critters? Mac Computers? Anyway, it will be good to have you back with a "u" on your keyboard!

Donna, have a wonderful day at your campground----what is your favorite site there anyway?

Here's hoping you all will have a wonderful Saturday!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good morning! It’s 33* and if life it is good it will get up into the mid-70s again today. Yesterday it was hard to believe that on Monday we had a storm and all the schools in the area were closed. Maybe just maybe spring has finally come to the Midwest tundra! CarolB we won’t know it’s you with a new keyboard! I found it quite entertaining how creative you were without a U! Soos, The rose is beautiful! I do believe that MC stands for Morning Coffee. Speaking of coffee I’ve had to get a little creative with coffee making this week. My coffee maker took a dump mid-week so I’ve been heating the water in the microwave and pouring it over the grounds in the coffee maker to let it drip. It works..but not extremely convenient. So I'm not offering coffee today! I went out to the 5er to get that coffee maker but I had stored it in a cabinet that is covered when the slide is in. The battery for the slide is in the basement so that was a no go. Going to have to have DH get the battery hooked up so I can start spring cleaning in there. Today I am heading to Mitchell to buy a new coffee maker and some spring tops and visit Missy at the greenhouse….maybe I’ll get a chance to play in the dirt.
Well, I’d better hit the shower and get ready to ramble. Have a good day everyone!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

well good morning to you all, its been a long stressful week but I got through it and will do the same next week. Only
20 days left of school here. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate Arizona? The state certainly can't keep their
records straight. Last year come income tax time, they claimed I owed them $298 worth of taxes from some previous
year so they took it out of my refund and sent me the balance. Ok, all is well I guess and I suddenly get a letter of a
garnishment for $298 for the state of Arizona, huh??? They will take it out in one lump sum and send me the balance
of my check. So, since we have lawyer insurance I went to the lawyer and discussed it. One thing ya can't do is fight
the state or federal tax agency, well, ya can but its difficult and ya gotta have all the documentation etc etc. To make
a longer story shorter, lawyer said just let the garnishment go through and we'll send the state the documentation from
last year how they took it out of my refund and also a copy of the deposit they made into my bank account. Hopefully
I will get my money back from the state since I payed it twice. Hopefully they won't be trying to take it out of this
years refund as well. Time will tell on that one but it just confirms one of the reasons I hate Arizona. Seems like some
time during the year they would have sent me some type of notice that I owed it, instead I get the letter that its paid.
:? At any rate, what a total embarrassment to go get my adjusted paycheck from the secretary instead of just the
automatic deposit. Automatic deposit is required so I was the only live paycheck in the mail bag, and everyone
at work knows what that means.
The girls are fine though and I found out little Miss Maggie is afraid of cats. While we were out on leash the other day
one of the neighborhood cats, a very friendly one came over and tried to be friends with her and rub on her, well she
was scarred of this cat and kept trying to head for the door. She must have had been smacked around by a cat a time
or two in her previous living arrangements. Now I know why she just ignored daughters cat (that lives out on the back
porch).
Routine day today, laundry and clean my room. Doing an extra good job today as we're supposed to get up into the
triple digits later in the week so it looks like summer is creeping around the corner here.
Ok, ya'll have a great day and be safe.

You all have me beat with low temps, it is 52 here but cloudy with rain off and on which makes it feel like a winter morning. Maybe a hot chocolate would taste good today. It seems to jump from cold to hot, by Tuesday it is supposed to be in the eighties :(. I want perfect and to me that is low seventies with low humidity.

I'm about to give up on getting our basement fixed. Been working with a company since March trying to get a correct estimate and samples of the products they use as adhesives for me to see if I can tolerate them after they dry. After over a month of many broken appointments without even a phone call I gave up. I called what I thought was the local office and sweetly told them to please let him know not to bother with his revised estimate (he missed something on the first one) and that I thought he needed help as he seemed overwhelmed. I did say I thought he could have at least called when he was not going to keep an appointment. I then asked if there was someone else I should speak with and the woman told me I was about as high up as I could get, that she was the President of the company's assistant at the corporate office! I had dialed the local office so not sure how that happened but at least I didn't have to go through my story twice. She agreed that they should look into his work load and get him some help, then said he had been with them for ten years and was a good employee but tended to be unorganized. She also assured me she would speak to the President and would call me Monday. So...will see what happens, I told her if they could send another crew in I would reconsider as I heard their work and product was so well regarded.

Elsie has been connected to our house electricity for two days now, the time they recommended me to keep her plugged in to recharge my batteries that I had drained completely.  Now I can't remember if I'm supposed to unplug from the RV or the house plug first, hopefully someone will have an answer for me. Oh and I turn my batteries off now that they are charged :?:

So glad it warmed up for you all up north, enjoy the sun while it's out! It seems elusive this spring. Ava 100 temps alone would drive me out of AZ, not to mention the tax issues that is terrible! Sorry this happened to you.

I have been MIA(missing in action) for a couple of weeks. Last week my sister and I went to South Texas. I started feeling bad on the 16th and came down with the cold from hell. I am feeling better but still have a cough that is hanging on. That was a long way to go to be sick.

I think the only places that you would have a problem staying at a Walmart is where the city has an ordinance against it. I can think of 3 Walmarts in South Louisiana that have low bars over the entrances to keep trucks out. You could get in the lot by going in the back way for trucks but never have ask what their policy is.

Soos, beautiful rose. My roses are blooming away. I have one red rose, a Mr Lincoln. It has beautiful long stem roses but not enough at one time to make an arrangement.

Pat, I have some Starbucks coffee that comes in the little tubes like Crystal Lite. I have used it on a couple of trips when I didn't want to get out the coffee maker. It's kind of expensive but handy. My sister informed me that it was just instant coffee. That's true but if I put a jar of instant coffee in the motorhome the second time I want some it's a brick.

BJ, I always unplug from the electricty before I unplug the cord from the RV. Same thing with extension cords. Unplug it before you start winding one up in case there might be short in it. You should check on your batteries for a while to make sure they are holding a charge. That's not something you want to find out on a trip.

While I was gone 2 of the cats and the dog had to go to the vet. And a wall switch went out and kept kicking the breaker for part of the house. I'm afraid to leave again. :( The dog probably hurt his back jumping on and off the 4 wheeler. He is on steroids and has to be quiet for a month. Guess I will be walking the dog. Need an excuse to get me on the road.
