Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday and Another Week Begins

A Cheery Good Morning out there,

I"m in a good mood this morning. This would have been my first day back to work at the park again, had I not decided to retire instead. It's cloudy, damp and around 34 degrees So nice to be able to just be in here and look out at it and not have to get out if I don't want. I'm so glad I made that decision. Plus there is still snow laying in the park yet and you can't really get in there except walking and possibly with some of the equipment. Thanks to the big storm in December, there are branches, limbs, trees and what not down all over and also limbs hung up in trees etc. Plus the leaves from last fall yet to clean up. No, I am glad I am not going back.

I worked out in my yard yesterday and got my backyard raked up except for a couple of small spots where some snow has to melt off, but it's under control back there. Now to head to the front, which doesn't need raking, but just picking up. Raking to do off the side of my drive though where the trees came down and had to be cut up. Branches and such to pick up.

But today is going to be my off day. Have Chiropractor appt. this morning, plus run a few errrands and may take a ride down to Camping World as well. Kind of in the mood for TT looking. Shall see what ensues here.

Reading through the posts from yesterday, sounds like everybody's keepng busy. Irmi, been thinking about you and I'm sure that your parents are happy you are home and they will be enjoying some of your fabulous home cooked meals. Hope all was well when you and Steve got home this year. You had such a fabulous winter down south. Carolb, enjoy your visit with you sister. Before long, it will be time for you to head back home as well. Then make plans for next winter again.

Have a wonderful day out there everyone.

Good morning Sue and everyone.

Sue, isn't it wonderful you don't have to worry about all the cleaning at the park this year. I remember your posts from last year and all you had to do to get it ready for the season. I am following your quest for a new RV. Enjoy the hunt.

Today is my day off. I have a massage and facial scheduled for this morning. After that, I need to get my rig cleaned and laundry done. I stay so busy here that laundry and housecleaning has been pushed to days off. I try to keep everything picked up through the week, but the real cleaning has to wait until my days off.

The new Camp Hosts for the CG I was at got here yesterday. Yaay! Once they are trained, other than their days off, we won't have to keep going over there to make sure all is OK and any campers are taken care of. We are starting to get campers coming in and setting up their RV's on the site they want for Memorial Day. We haven't started the 14 day rule yet, so they are making sure they get the site they want for the holiday. There are some really popular sites and the regulars know if they don't get set up now, they won't be able to get those spots come Memorial Day.

Everyone have a great day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Good Morning to All - Writing from my home desktop computer this morning. We got home around noon yesterday after being on the road six months. All is almost well here - had leak in upstairs bathroom that damaged ceiling and floor in downstairs bathroom. Will call insurance co. today. Luckily house sitter shut off water pretty quick.
Today will be nice and sunny then by tomorrow more cool weather and rain. Lots of flooded land around here.
Now have to clean Jennie and get her ready to sell. Did a little bit of unloading yesterday and I can feel it today. But it has to be done. And the house has to be cleaned because we are getting company over the weekend! So we'll be busy for a while.

Good morning all,
Sue you really sound happy about your decision your yard sounds like you have enough to keep you busy for awhile. Welcome home Carol, sorry about your water damage and hope it isn't a major fix. I was surprised to read you are parting with Jenny. I've never had a facial Dawn but my niece said they relax her more than a massage. Do they do your whole head or just your face?

Lots going on here today, yoga at 11:00 and a committee meeting at 5:00 at church because two of the members forgot the time had been changed for the one scheduled yesterday   The man who did the estimate for our basement repair said he will come back to check something he missed this evening but...he has said he would be here and not shown for 3 times. I very sweetly told him he had one more chance and he swore he would be here, possibly because I called the main office, told them I lost his cell number and needed to ask him a couple of questions & would they please ask him to call me. He thinks I ratted on him so he may show . I know if I get him in trouble and he does do the work he will do a bad job. This company is said to be the best around for basement work or I would not be so patient.
The dogs are telling me it is time for their breakfast. Hope everyone has a great day and that those up in the cold north get a bit of warm weather soon.

GOOD MORNING AND HAPPY EARTH DAY TO ALL.

No Lyrids Meteor Shower viewing for us in Orlando this morning due to heavy cloud cover and still some intermittent showers. But setting my alarm for 3:30 am and getting out into the yard was neat as the tree frogs and barking frogs were serenading like mad in the welcome moisture they have been needing for so long. I was sleeping in the screen room, so I got the concert all night long----how I love that sound.

No plans for today yet, other than try to find a time to take dogs for a walk along Shingle Creek between rain showers. Rest of the week is supposed to be sunnier and more like typical FL weather.

Try to do one significant thing for Earth Day today, if even to be mindful of what we toss into our landfills week after week, most of which will never decompose. I feel so very guilty, even though they have a wonderful re-cycling thing going here, I have narrowed down my toss-aways to about a quarter of a bag of rubbish twice a week now that most of my stuff can be rinsed out and put into the recycle bin to picked up once each week. This morning, as I was wabbing up a piece of aluminum foil to toss into the trash bin, I realized I could wash it off and put it into the recycle bin.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good morning all:)

Good to see you back, Soos. Welcome back 'home,' Carol. And a welcome spring day for Sue. Dawn, enjoy your facial, and BJ relax with yoga!

Making plans to gtg with Kathleen! Hopefully this afternoon. Then may start the last leg of my journey home tomorrow, Tues, with a gtg with Tina. Can't believe I'm down to my last week. I called this morning to resched my ammo, but want to be home by Wed nite or early Thurs a.m. to see my best friend/bro before he heads to NYC for the weekend. He has released mme from my "commitment" to go with him, thankfully. Was not wanting to abandon my poopers so soon after being with tem 24/7 for the past 3 1/2 mos.

Ok, y'all have a great day and safe travels always!

Isn't retirement great, Sue? :D

I'll be heading home next week. There are a couple of projects to finish here first.

No hurry along the way, but I need to be back to watch a nephew graduate from law school on the 19th. I think I'll wander north along the Blue Ridge Parkway. I'm looking forward to the beauty!

Here we go again! Another winter storm warning for this afternoon and tonight. 6-8 more inches of snow!! Ugh!! Will it never end??

I have a cold so I took some Benedryl last night and slept until 1pm today! Gotta remember not to take that if I am working the next day! Nothing much planned for today. Should run some errands here before the snow starts. Got some library books ready to pick up, so will do some reading later and maybe a load of laundry. Also need to pick up more bird seed and suet, as the birds here are very hungry and have devoured what I had out there. Have had a lot of red winged black birds here which has been nice! Love their songs!

Carol, I also didn't know you were planning to sell Jenny. Why have you decided to do that? Too small for the long trips?

Sue, enjoy your retirement now and take your time getting things done in the yard. You have lots of time for that yet. Good luck on your TT search!

BJ, facials are wonderful! They usually just concentrate on the face and neck, but do some massage on the head, back of neck and upper back as well. Very relaxing! You should get one!

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

BJ, Barbara is right. They concentrate on your face with a little massage on your shoulders and the back of your neck. I go to sleep during facials. I sure don't sleep through the massages. Because of the nerve damage to my legs and arms, massages can hurt for me. I feel so much better after for a couple weeks, it is worth the discomfort to me. My massage therapist in Fort Worth worked for my neurologist and she concentrated on range of motion on me. That hurt like the dickens! I just get a relaxation massage from this therapist. I am not ready to go through the torture again yet. LOL.
