Good morning all! :D

Yep, a gtg with BJ sometime today! :P I made the short drive to Rolla yesterday for a qwick overnight visit with friend's dawghter & fam, jst a few hrs away from BJ's area.

Donna, it does seem like the MC postings have been sparse, & I too miss some of the regyewlars. I think a lot of them are traveling, & if like me, sometimes can't find the time to post??? :? Or like Beth, not always having a good signal??? Well, yew keep on posting!

Going for my second cp of coffee, so ya'll have a great day, & as always, wishing safe travels for those on the road!!!!

Good morning everyone,
Been a busy week... Loved mini-GTG with Carolb! :D Sadie now gets on the sofa without hesitation.   Tried to get on my bed, but I'm keeping that off limits. Now I'm working on her jumping on people. Watched some youtubes & using the 'cross your arm' technique to get her to sit. She learns very quickly - especially when a treat is involved. :D
All the rain this week has the grass growing like crazy - it might only be 34 outside but will have to mow when it warms up a little later today.
JudyB, I love reading about your beach stays... gives me wonderful ideas & hope for my future travels. :D
Ava, hang in there - someone one in a much higher place than those folks dishing out the assignments will watch over & take care of you to get you to retirement. :)
Barbie, hope the snow eventually stops out there - in the meantime hope you're enjoying the company of your friendly ferrets & lola.
Olive, good luck with repairs with your rig - it'll all be worthwhile once you get on the road.

To all the newcomers, welcome!!!! This is a fantastic forum. I haven't gotten to hit the road yet, but feel like I have friends throughout this beautiful country - can't wait to meet all of them! :)
Well, I'm going to fix another cup of coffee & then get started.
Enjoy the day!

Morning all,

I too have been hit and miss on here. Some mornings like yesterday, had an appt. so had to get up and moving, no time for posts. Then got into my painting project in the bathroom after that. This time of year I think, everybody's stating to get busy with other things, are returning home to S&B's after being gone all winter and are busy getting that in order, some are traveling and have no internet connections. Over the years I have been with this forum, I notice that around this time of year, people tend to disappear more, but as the summer travel and sightseeing season gets into full swing, then the postings seem to pick up with all kinds of exciting travel fun.

Nothing exciting to report here today either. Just going to duble check the bathroom painting project for possible missed spot or touch ups and then put everythng back, want to repaint an end of one of my living room walls and also get that touch up painting done in kitchen area. Then next week I can concentrate on the outdoor stuff.

The storm has left and the sun is peakng out behind the clouds. A few little snow flurries coming and going. We got about a quarter of an inch or so of snow late in the wee hours of this morning, but it's already starting to melt off my drive. The storm actually came over me and it's warm front went a bit farther east and the heavy snow to the far end of the Upper Peninsula. I see by the Weather Channel that there is another one comeing and looks to do the same thing on Monday.

Monday looks to be nice and mild, maybe 60. Might be a nice day to go to an RV dealer and see what's on the lot. Trouble with looking for a rig right now is that I hate being weight restricted. It limits what one has a choice of. and that MH for sale on Craigslist keeps bugging me.

Well, the folks in Boston can breathe easier and I'm sure got a good nights sleep after the events of the past 24 hours. Now maybe they will be able to find out what the whole thing was all about. I"m sure everybody was glued to their TV last night.

Time to get busy here. You all have a wonderful day out there. Carolb, have a great time with BJ :)

Good morning everyone. I am up in Dallas today. I had the most wonderful drive up. Took country roads and loved the acres and acres of rolling green hills with tons of wild flowers. Looked like a Monet painting with all the pastel mustard, coral, lilac colors sprinkled on the blankets of grass. Even though it is still cold, 40 this AM, spring has sprung in this part of Tx. Had dinner with cousin and her DH and their friends last night. Today is jus us two roaming and site seeing. Then I drive back to Houston this afternoon. Then finish loading RED to leave tomorrow for the county fairgrounds. Everyone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha y'all

good morning ladies
ahhhhh, its saturday :D
will get my routine stuff done and then contemplate what extra I can do to appease my yearning for freedom. :D
Maybe I'll go get my tire quotes from Big O and Discount tire. Have a quote from Fletchers, 101 apiece on Towmasters.
Son brought breakfast in, guess him and the guys stopped by McDonalds this morning. Not my favorite breakfast but
it will do. My favorite is the egg, bacon and cheese croisanwich from Burgerking. But I'm certainly enjoying the orange
juice, it just hits the spot for some reason today.
Off to get started on my laundry, ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Red, that sounds like a beautiful drive! Would love to see some real flowers around here!
It is sunny and calm this morning and some melting going on. Supposed to get near 50 tomorrow so will be wet and sloppy. I sure hope that was the last of the winter snowstorms here! We are still 20-30 degrees below normal here. Supposed to be in the mid 60's by now and we have only hit 50 once so far but mostly been in the mid 30's.

What a relief that they found that guy in Boston last night! What a drama that unfolded! Great job by the police, swat teams and FBI all working together to capture that guy!

Was going to head out to WM and Menards today but don't really feel like spending money right now, so I may just stay home and read and play with the fuzzies. I was so glued to the TV last night that I forgot to let them out before I went to bed, so they were active all night in their cages and kept waking me up. My bad! I wish I could let them out together, but Cocoa just wants to chase Chelsea and pin her down and lay on top of her. He is fixed so not sure why he is doing that, but I hate to put Chelsea thru that, so they get seperate playtimes instead.

Hope you all have a nice relaxing day today, or a safe one if traveling.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Strong front went through last night bringing more rain and more windy. Rocked all night. Just occasional sprinkles now but only 56 instead of 73 yesterday. Hoping sun comes out partially so I can go exploring but not a good day for sightseeing

Did not sleep well last night as I realized all stuff I lost on computer. Documents and photos are backed up fairly regularly but not Outlook or my old Palm files where I keep addresses, passwords, birthdays, and ton of other stuff. When I get everything reconstructed I will do a whole system backup. Might have some of old Palm stuff on very old backup in safety deposit box. Real pain losing so much.

But, will not lose any photos which is what is really important.

Lesson to everyone: spent a few bucks for an external hard drive and back up your stuff. :)
