Good morning all, It is cloudy again today with temps expected in the 80's!! then dropping to the 50's for a few days, crazy!!! At least we don't have snow and ice like some.
Yes, I was supposed to be in STL but the weather played with my plan,I didn't think spending the night there with tornado warnings would be much fun.

I had one of those 'oh no' calls yesterday, it was the credit card company saying,"this isn't a sales call..." seems our card number was one that had been hacked at Schucks and someone was using a fake card with our number in NC. So glad the credit card companies are able to watch transactions. There was an article in the morning paper saying there were more stores than originally thought involved and ours was in the list. I told DH I thought I should call and cancel our card but he reminded me of what a pain it was and it would probably be ok....guess not!

Good morning BJ and those who follow!

Just getting ready for work here and letting the fuzzies burn off some energy before sending them back to bed.

Later today and tonight we are supposed to get heavy rains, and then tomorrow heavy snows! Not again!? Up to 6 inches, maybe more. We do desperately need the moisture here but I would rather just have the rain.

I set up my bike yesterday. I think I am really going to like riding it. I like the way the handle bars are so I can sit upright instead of leaning forward. It folds right in half and fits in the back of my Jeep. Very cool! Now we just need to get rid of all the snow so I can ride it...

BJ, the credit card company should be canceling that card. In fact should be done already, with a new one sent to you.

30 degrees here right now. Brrr. I'm going into Reno today. Temps will start going back up today, and I'll get back heading north again. I've still got plenty of time.

They cancelled the card as soon as I said the charges weren't mine. They said we should get new ones within 48 hours and that the fraudulent charges would be removed.

Good afternoon, everyone... We've landed at South Forty Campground, Courtland, VA for 2 days.... on our way to PA on Friday.....We are going to the WAC Museum at Ft. Lee, VA tomorrow...

50% chance of rain today and tomorrow....but right now sunny with a temp of almost 80F..... All 3 of us are thankful for full-hookups and A/C right now....

Okay, am taking a break from setting up and have a little to finish....

Good afternoon everyone. I got up early this AM. While I was sick on Mon DH went to CW and bought me a folding trike. I wanted one to cruise around campgrounds and for the circus. So today I opened the box and got it put together and went to take my first ride, but the front wheel was locked. The hand brakes were permanently on So I folded it up and loaded it the car and went down to CW. I was going to get a new one in a box, but one of the sales people was a cycling enthusiast and ran to his car, grabbed a tool, adjusted the brake tension and voila, it worked. I rode it around the store while I shopped for other items to make sure it works. It was afternoon before I got home an unloaded groceries, etc. now gonna have lunch and my first cup of coffee. Late afternoon here ... but I've gotten lots done today. Moved all of 30 miles down the road to be close to the repair shop I'm going to in the morning. Probably stupid, but I'm not a morning person, so just felt better about being close. Bought a new "good" sewer hose and tossed the one I've used for 4+ years. I also have a "crummy" hose that I use at dump stations (with no end on it). We'll see if I like this new one ... loved my last one, but it was aging, and the fittings weren't tight anymore, and I don't want to deal with leaks. No thank you!

Didn't hook up cable, but just saw that Elementary is on tonight ... so think I will. Funny how I can go months with no tv, but put me in a park with cable and I become a tv junkie! Oh, and Survivor, too! Will really be a junkie tonight.
Hope you all had a good day ... at least the sun is out here, and temps are starting to come back up ... whew. I know I'll be living in the colder temps on the trip to Valdez, but didn't expect these now.
