Storage compartment modifications

Postby Liz » Tue Apr 16, 2013 8:27 pm

My son-in-law helped me make some modifications in my large storage compartment to keep things more accessible.

D-rings attached under existing screws created a place to attach a bungee to hold folding chair upright at the side instead of laying on top of other stuff.

A 10-foot section of PVC cut in thirds and attached to wooden supports at the top created storage for long-handled tools. A bungee keeps it from sliding out when the RV is in motion.

That tool storage is clever!

I do love bungee cords. :)

Such a handy sil you have. Great job. And I purchased a couple more bungee cords today. They sure do come in handy.

So cool! How did he attach the pvc to the wood?

Great ideas. I installed a shelf in my C so everything wasn't piled on top of each other.

You can see the holes in the bottom of the PVC. They were for inserting a screw driver to screw the PVC to the wood.

Might have to try a few of these in my storage area too (same as yours Liz). I especially like the D rings.
