Good Morning !!! Its been a busy week around here with yard work, dental day for Maggie , shopping and repair guys here. They are done inside, but having outside pressured washed and decks done, next week. I also bought a new computer, finally, and had to do it while Liz was here, you know as I need help . It has windows 8, Pat, so we understand somewhat your times with it It does things I don't plan on, while I'm using it, so have to find what I'm doing, as it seems to be VERY sensitive.

Hope you all have stayed well, those on the road, know you're having great days, I may catch up somewhat one day. Maggie says lets get moving Mom, her food has to soften up and she gets very impatient, especially this morning, she missed a meal, Thursday and she and Liz are not letting me forget it

Those on the road stay safe, those at home, keep yourselves safe too, these storms in the south have been bad. We had rain and thunder, but we're a wee bit north of bad stuff that went through.

Guess I'd better take care of my laptop - I don't want to experience Win8 for a while...
Already had coffee.. Have more made if anyone wants some.
Been up since 4 - got taxes done & efiled for myself & daughter. Cut backyard grass last night. Today: cut frontyard grass, fix leaking bathroom sink, clean house & BFF's daughter's first communion. Thank goodness I still work so I can get some rest during the week.
Looking forward to Carolb stopping by sometime as she works her way back to NY.
Have DD's cats while she & BF are in SanDiego checking out jobs for her & grad school for him. Sadie loves having them here, they are her partners in crime... yesterday, they managed to push the doggie treats onto the floor. She's going to miss them when they leave.

Good morning everyone...glad to see everyone survied the storms...
Not much going on here as always...need to go out to WM today
and get some food...bread milk stuff like that...we are still under
40% rain chance same as yesterday and did not see a drop....cleaned
out closet...moved some clothes to the RV that I will take with me...
I still have 4 weeks before leaving and it is a little to soon to pack up
someday it will be all orginized, ready , and all I will have to do is jump in and go
Want to do some more decorating...would love to see some of the things you all have done
and some tips....well time to get busy

Good morning, all....Looks like everyone has been busy with spring cleaning and learning new computer systems....

We had lunch with Ernie's cousins yesterday...great time over Pizza... I took some photos with the new camera...Maybe today I'll get the downloaded to the computer and get the posted....

Sunny and in the 70s for today....but the wind still isn't letting us put the awning out... Nothing planned for the day, but Ernie's making chili for supper and then we'll watch the race this evening....

Next week at this time we'll be at our "home base" campground.....can't wait to spoil the DGD....I've missed her...

The yellow/green pollen has both of us hacking and coughing....but have our allergy meds so it's bearable. It will be another month before it's done though for us, as it follows us up the road.....

Good Morning! It’s 27* but at least the sun is out for a change. I was beginning to think I was going to have mushrooms growing off me. We have a high of 42 and rain predicted. Tonight the kids have their prom. I’ve seen a few of the girls dresses...wow have formals changed since I was in high school....they’re going to freeze their tatas off tonight! Our invitational track meet was supposed to be held yesterday but was cancelled because there is about 8 inches of snow on the track. Such a lovely winter we’re having this spring! It's predicted that we'll have more rain and snow this coming week. I just keep chanting...we need the moisture...we need the moisture.
I finally made it to work on Thursday. We had gotten about another 5” of snow during the night. An officer had told one of my veteran inmate workers that there wasn’t any way that I’d be at work again. The old worker joked and told the officer he’d bet him a can of soda that I would be there. When I asked what made him so sure that I’d come in and he told me that he had watched the news and saw that school in Avon was not cancelled but two hours late so he knew I’d drive one of the pick-ups and come to work! They know me all too well.
Carol, I am starting to find my way around Win8 a little better. But I still don’t like it. Also don’t like the flat keyboard on a laptop. For some reason it seems that I have my cursor jumping all over the place. I still have things that I need to set up. Don’t have a router yet so I can use it wireless.
Lori, I bet your GD is just as excited to see you and Ernie as you are to see her!
And Catherine, I know what you mean about going back to work to rest after a weekend. Although I’m not quite as ambitious as I used to be on the weekends. Things are still pretty slow going around here as my ankle is still giving me fits. The black and blue is gone but it’s still swelling if I’m on it a lot. I do have to vacuum today…I know there is another dog’s worth of fur on the floor.
Well, I’d better get my grocery listed made. Every Saturday morning is buy groceries and get the car gassed up for the week.

Good morning all

Crazy weather, hopefolly this will be the last winter storm of spring. Things here in OK are grand. Perfect weather yesterday & the cg is filling-p. Dawn was a bz bee, being an excellent camp hostess! Already this a.m., she's been going arownd like a crazy woman--so nice to see someone enjoying their job so mch!

I'm relaxing! Had a great day doing crosswords & gazing owt at the lake & walking poopers. Will do the same today. I'm glad Dawn talked me into staying. I'll leave late Mon afternoon to get a start on the 450 mi trip to Catherine's Can't wait to see her again!

good morning ladies
well, at least its Saturday and I don't have to go to work today and put up with that insanity. They are still using me as
a relief driver in the afternoon different buses, different routes all the time. Driving the big bus is not an issue,
but it only took 3 days of driving the big bus with ALL those kids to remind me WHY I got burned out on it. All those
little tattle tales complaining about one thing or another that I can do nothing about and really don't care, as long as
no one is hurting another one or being a bully. The rest is all wah wah wah typical little kid stuff.
I keep threatening dispatch "I feel a sick day coming on" but then by the end of the week I hate to give up those extra
hours I begrudgingly earned... and so the story goes, they know me too well and know I just put up and tolerate what
they throw at me. COME ON RETIREMENT!!
I was planning on driving up to Payson today to check out parks to set the rv up in for a year, there is one in particular
I wanted to check into that only charged $170 a month. Payson is only an hour away but then I remembered its bike
week and the amount of motorcycles on the roads right now, well lets just say its something I don't care to deal with.
So, a trip to Payson is another day. No hurry, its not like I have to move but it will be nice to be able to let the dogs
out to sniff around in their own yard. Besides, I still have a few items I want to purchase anyway. So might make a trip
to Home Depot or Harbor Freight, thats gonna be a toss of the coin.
For now, I'm working on laundry and tiding up my room. Also trying to get up the nerve of giving Gracie some valerian
drops to knock her out so I can trim her nails. It was recommended and I did the research and even the calculations
as to "how much" to give her but I'm nerveous to do it even though it suppose to be safe. However, if it works like its
suppose to it will save me a ton of money in vet bills to have them do her nails all the time. Maybe by the afternoon I'll
feel like giving it a whirl and see what happens.
Time to switch out the laundry and get stuff put away. Ya'll have a great day and be safe. I hope your having good
weather where you are.

Ava, Payson for a year? You will experience winter there AC less in the summer, heating way higher in the winter ... probably evens out.

no winter in Payson, will winterize and stay in the valley with son, but winters are mild up there anyway.
