Thanks for all the congrats and concerns. I promise to take a ton of pictures!
Now for some clarifications:
- We're getting the RV directly from the manufacturer not a dealer. Nexus does not work through dealers.
- While we were there in February, I had asked about a "starter kit" and was told that they don't typically provide one because they found the majority of people either had they're own equipment from a previous RVs or wanted very specific items that varied from owner to owner so it was easier to let people just outfit as they pleased. Nexus said they would provide a kit if we asked them to but we opted to go ahead take care of it ourselves after all.
- Mom's RV is technically a B+, no cab over.
http://www.nexusrv.com/viper29v_photogallery.php- Nexus, because they build to order, upgraded mom's RV to 50 amps at her request. She is full-timing and wanted the option to run all of her gizmos and gadgets and appliances when she's at campgrounds. The 30 amp adapter is partially because as you all know, not all campgrounds have 50 amps, and sometimes she just doesn't want to spend the money for 50 amps.
ETA: Clarified the starter kit comment.
