Great to see pix of DV! Wow, now I wish I woold have stayed for that  I keep asking myself, "why am I going back to NY?" :? Okay, need to work things owt to be pretty mch foll-time for the next few years--while I'm able to!

LOL! Have to laff at this: When Red posted pix of her SNOWY road trip, I joked I'd never go camping with her ;) Well, I had a thot to call her abowt meeting at Dawn's place--& now we're going to have below-freezing temps with possible snow/sleet/ice in OK!!!! Stay warm! It's going to be almost into the 80's the first part of this week and drop some by the end. No blasted snow in sight thankfully. It's April darn it!

I'm trying to convince mom not to plan too many adventures upfront. Otherwise she'll be rushing here and there, not able to take those side roads into cute towns or linger longer at a newly discovered spot.

Good morning Carolb, T and all who follow.

Carolb, no snow, etc. for this part of OK. It will be in the 50's for a couple days starting tomorrow.

I know I could have slept in this morning, but woke up just before 5, as usual. Fixin to go get my second cup of coffee. It is really windy out today. We have a cold front due in tonight with the possibility of severe storms. Large hail, strong winds and the possibility of tornadoes. It may be a fun night tonight. NOT! Going to finish up my meal plan for the rest of the week before Carolb gets here. I am going to drag her along with me today. I need to go to the grocery store and to Petco for dog treats. I bought a 25 lb meat pack from the meat market yesterday and was really excited that I was able to get it all in my freezer. All but the 2 lb package of bacon. I am letting that thaw and then will divide and use my Food Saver to make smaller packages to put back in the freezer.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning Carolb,TeAntae, Dawn & all who follow,
I'm with you, Dawn, the storms that are predicted for tonight will NOT be fun. Sierra is terrified of them! Not sure what I'll do with her when they hit.
Carolb, come anytime. I'm not going anywhere.  I'll PM you my address. You can't miss the house, it's got a huge van with a cover on it in the driveway (still plenty of room for you though). I work during the day, but feel free to pull in when you get here, plug yourself in & make yourself & pups at home. Warning though... it's going to be cold (near freezing) during the nights later this week - highs in the 40's-50's though so not too bad.
Well, I'd better get going - Sadie wants some lovin' before I leave for work. :D

No rain here and we could use a good shower it is supposed to cool off to the fifties at the end of week. I took Elsie to have all the pink stuff flushed yesterday and they found two places where my fresh water drain needed repairs. I knew it was leaking at one spot when I filled, I'm glad they fixed it and that the parts were under $10.00. Now I'm just hoping we don't get another really cold spell. The bad new was, they told me I need new tires, mine are 7 years old! ACK I'm puzzled as when I had all the repairs done in the winter I was told my tires were good and the place fixing it sells tires. He showed me all the cracks that run all around each tire. They don't sell tires at the RV repair place but they know I travel alone and look things over carefully. Lately it seems like every day brings another something we need to buy or repair. ACK
Carol congrats on your decision to go full time! Life on the road seems to have agreed with you and your furry companions.
I have a dentist appointment to get my new bridge put in today, sure hope it fits as well as this temporary one.
Safe travels to all on the road and everyone have a happy day.

Good Morning! Time for my bi-monthly post. Spring????? My dying @$$! :x I’m not going to work today. We’re in the middle of a rain/ ice/sleet/snow storm. There isn’t a school in the area in session today. I hate using my annual leave for weather, but on Good Friday I was cleaning and tripped over my broom (quit laughing) and really did a number on my ankle. There is the book 50 Shades of Gray…well my ankle was 50 shades of purple and blue! Since I’m still pretty gimpy I have no desire to get out on icy sidewalks and possibly fall and do more damage to it. I’m finally getting to the point that I’m not getting up in the middle of the night to take ibuprofen and get another ice pack. Back to the weather, I’m not complaining (too much)…at least it’s a form of moisture which we need so very bad.
It’s been fun reading about the GTGs. Carolb has long as you’re going to Kansas you might as well swing through South Dakota! :)
Have a new laptop, my desktop finally kicked the bucket after 7 years. It’s been a real learning curve for me. I’m have trouble typing on the flat keyboard. Windows 8 was a real joy (not) and I’m still not used to it but am learning to maneuver around on it a more every day. It doesn’t help that I at work I have a desktop and Windows 7 and come home to something different. I don’t cope with change well.
All in all nothing is new around here. Reason that I don’t post much and bore you to death. I did get our reservations made for our annual group 4th of July camping marathon.

good morning ladies, just a few minutes here before I go do my run and take the kiddos to school. Hated the
wind yesterday and the city was so dry that the dust was everywhere. Then it started to rain and my car looked
like it had a mud bath. Will have to hose it off and make it look at least a little better but the weather report
says not to wash the car yet.
Ok, off to check a few other things and get my butt in gear. Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

Another picture-perfect warm sunny, light cooling breezy day here at the trailer this morning. I almost feel guilty for being the one to have the perfect winter season down here this year----although the past two have been just as perfect, actually. I am sort of looking forward to getting back to the north country and seeing the other half of my family back there....especially my little Orion!

Today I will drive my son to the dentist to get his jaw work done for his crown...sure hope it's less painful than that root canal thing was. After this week down here, and I have my bike here now so I can ride the roads a bit and explore, I will go back to Orlando and try to get that danged garage backside rebuilt and made pretty. I also hope to get some swimming in now that my skin cancers have all been treated and/or removed.

Happy Tuesday to you all!

Happy travels!

Good Morning to All - we are still in the Sedona area - decided to wait out the bad weather. Yesterday we had cool high winds, rain and hail. Rained a lot during the night too. And cold this morning. What happened to Spring? I'm getting a lot of knitting practice while sitting here. The MiFi is working fast again. I don't know how far the signal reaches but for a while there were 8 other mifis in the area and the speed went to hardly worked. Now there's only one other showing up.
Doing a lot of sight seeing in the area - lots of beautiful stuff here. Have written about most of it on the blog. And plan on doing more if when it warms up.
Hope most of you are out of the way of the worst of the weather - if not hunker down and let it past.

It's windy here too. The wind catches the storm door when we try to go out and almost knocks us down. My DH was looking for his water bucket. I told him the wind probably took it. It was across 2 yards and in a ditch.

I have been to town twice and have to go back again. Had to go pick up DH at a shop in another town where he brought his truck. Found one of the barn cats with an abscess on his front leg so called the vet and brought the cat in. These darn cats need to quit fighting. Have to go pick up the cat at 5:00. Hope his leg isn't too bad because I'm planning on leaving on Friday and I sure don't want to bring a cat.

Got my internet fixed this morning. Took a nap afterwards and dreamt I had a pet alligator!

Yucky day today but gonna get worse before it gets better. Rain, sleet and 6+ inches of snow before all is said and done on Thursday here! Yikes! Where is spring???

Am anxious to get out and try out my new bike I bought last weekend. Maybe next weekend if the snow melts before then.

Just gave Chelsea her first bath. She didn't care for it too much and has been running around like a maniac trying to dry herself off, but now she is nice and fluffy!

Nothing else much new here. Work is going good. Have a new manager and she seems very nice. My dad is doing pretty good for now. Hopefully done with the lottery scams now that we changed his phone number and redirected his mail to my brother's house.

Hope you all have a good week! This storm we are getting is currently heading up from Oklahoma with some severe weather, so those in that area, be mindful. This storm system is eventually heading to the northeast so those in that direction will be getting rain and snow later on.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
