Coming To Michigan

Okay, I was reading and catching up on the Campfire post and I see a few folks are looking to come to Michigan this year. So, who's all making plans? Do I sense a GTG somewheres???

I will be in Michigan the third and fourth week of May. I will also be at Sterling State Park from June 1-6, if anyone is passing through and wants to stop by.

Hello Colliemom and Judy
I will be visiting some friends near Travese City this summer, but I won't be in Michigan until the end of June/beginning of July. I have to be Maine in the middle of June for a week or so. Right now I have no set plans for my stay in MI. and there is so much that I want to see. I will be traveling to Niagara Falls and through Ontario and then into MI. I am open to just about anything.
Would be great to meet up with you. Peggy

My plans are less than jello at this point but such a trip is a possibility.

Judy, I know you probably wont be heading up this way cause you are heading west later on. But then again, i could be wrong. Peggy and CArol, would love to meet you two. I"m hunting for an RV, so maybe by then I will have found something and we can GTG somewhere's. Will have to work on it. Sarah, would love to have you join us.

And yes, as CArol said, there are alot of beautlful places to visit here. If I can get some cooperation from Photobucket, I will post pictures from the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Penisnsula, where I was last summer.

Sue, you are right that I may end up "Up North" for a few days. I canceled my trip to Ontario so I could leave my vehicle in Decatur at the factory from May 8-17 because of the soft spots in my floor and my kitchen lower cabinet pulling away from the wall. After that, I am thinking of going to Midland to visit a niece and her family and maybe taking them for a short trip.

I also am trying to talk an old friend into taking a short trip somewhere with me. She and I both turn 70 within a few days of one another in June, so I thought we should celebrate.

I will let you know what my plans are closer to then and maybe we can get together. It will be exciting if you have an RV by then.
