Good morning, Tina...and all......sorry you had a rough night.... :( Hopefully, you'll be able to catch some winks sometime today....

As for me, I went to bed early last night...a day on the road sure does wear us out....

This is going to be short cause I need my coffee....the mind isn't functioning yet....let alone my fingers to type...

So I'll just say "top of the morning to ya'll" and go do some reading here...

Good Morning Tina and all who follow,

So nice to see you start Coffee this morning Tina. And I love your 6 words of wisdom too.

I am going to explore this morning possibly. Paint colors. If you want to call that exploring. I'm in the process of painting my living room and hallway, but am kind of wondering if the color may darken my hall a bit too much So am considering heading up to Home Depot and look at the coordinating samples and see if I see one I like. If not, I will go ahead and paint and see what happens.

I would much rather be condiering loading up and RV and hitting the road, exploring the country and just plain being on my own, doing what I want. But at the moment it's not in the cards. Will happen, just need to get other things out of the way first.

There is a 2002 Shasta Sprite MH down that the dealers here taht has been bugging me, but I can't afford it right now. I think they are asking a bit too much anyway. It's only got a bit over 36,000 miles on it and 144 on the genny. On Consignment. Asking price is $24,500. I haven't seen it in person, just on the website. But looks like it's in great shape. Been too much ice, snow and cold to go looky.

I had a full body massage done yesterday and she worked me over good. Said my muscles in my back from my neck down are tight, so we are going to do two more massages next week and concentrate on those areas. I noticed a big difference yesterday in that I was pain free all day and also didn't even bother with the therapy cream or heating pad last night. Slept like a log too. Have the usual morning pains when I get up as the muscles have to start working again after sleeping all night. But once I get moving, they should loosen up. Hopefully this is an indication that things are on the mend. See my Chiropractor tomorrow and probably get a soft tissue massage too.

Well, day is here, I need to get moving. Want to get this painting thing up and going so I will be finished with this project. May or may not start another room. Our weatehr is moderating, but some rain/snow mix is in forecast for today and again on Saturday. Kind of a mixed bag week. We still have snow on the ground here, but it's becoming a amix of bare and snow covered ground all over, so can't really do anything outside just yet. But I want to be ready.

Everyone have a wonderful day out there now. Enjoy the rebith of spring.

Good morning !!! I would not have had a problem sleeping at all, BUT one of the neighbor dogs, thought he needed to alert us all to a night time critter and stood out here near my bedroom barking his fool head off. Even though Liz takes her aids out at night, I am afraid she heard and it went on for ever. Its raining here, I have a hair app. this morning, so we will venture out in it and see how the day goes from there. Not a good day to get my hair fixed, but no choice, to busy and my hairdresser has moved to where driving the RV I need to park quite a walk from her shop, the weather has not been good for that, so Liz, suggested I make it after she got here and we will scope out the area, for maybe future visits. I haven't been to her in ages, I haven't been here for one thing and another is she wants to keep fixing my hair the same ole way and as some of you know I like it shorter and styled a bit different  I like her as a person, though, so will see if maybe she will get the cut more to what I want. She's the best around here as far as I am concerned, so hoping this morning.

This weather must be the reason for keeping some in bed or out of the morning room, not having too many visit in the mornings. Didn't take long to find out what was happening , Glad your travels were not too windy yesterday, Beth. Hope you get to feeling much better soon Kathleen, so sorry you've been suffering with so much pain. I read it late last night, so can't remember correctly the rest of the news, Lori did get moved on though she says this morning. :D When it does warm up in the north, when the white stuff quits falling, it probably is going to be a hot one . ;) Well, won't think about that this morning.

Its great having Liz here, hoping she will visit for awhile, not just to help me here, but for us to play too :D My repair guy is to be here this afternoon and I will see what all he will do for what price and go from there. I plan to have a sale here and try to find homes for some of this stuff, Liz is very good for such as that, even though she in the past has been a fabulous repair person herself. Did any of you ever hear of the time she wanted(needed?) a new sink in her kitchen there in Ocala and she bought it and the faucet and took out the old and put in the new. She is really very talented in many ways, and I'm hoping she doesn't hurt me for giving out secrets here this morning when she comes in

Wishing you all a really great day, stay safe and have fun wherever you are,
CArol :)

Good morning. It is overcast, dark and cloudy. Just like my mood. DD is on the airplane on her way to S. Korea

Project today?? Have a very old mac laptop that still runs the older OS. I have a lot of docs that were created by AppleWorks. With the new apple OS these docs can not be opened. So I am using the old computer, opening the files and doing "save as" a word doc. Then I'll be able to open them on the newer OS systems. I have copies of the whole world for the past 15 yrs. I am deleting most of the files, but there are some I want to be able to open like past year's Xmas letters, etc. Everyone have a great day and stay safe.

Sounds like everyone is repositioning. I am in southeastern Georgia slowly heading north along the east coast. When I hit Virginia Beach, I will head northwest back to Michigan and Ohio. Looking forward to seeing friends and relatives.

I talked to a financial advisor yesterday who is helping my daughter-in-law do their taxes, and he is going to finish mine for me. I have lots of issues because I lived part of the year in Michigan, but moved to Ohio and then moved again in Ohio (son's residence) and Ohio has city income taxes. Also, my part-time employer is in Michigan but I am working online so who gets my taxes?? Seems I need to tell the college to report my income to Ohio fir 2013 instead of Michigan. I feel much better to get all of this figured out and have someone else do all the research and calculations for the first time of my life! :)

And I got a check for some back wages, so am hoping this one clears. Old (2011) employer has been paying me an agreed on amount each month per a finding of the Michigan wage and hour division more than a year ago, but last check bounced. She is now declaring bankruptcy so all is very iffy. At least she has paid me almost everything out of the several thousand she once owed me, and has promised to send me personal checks for the remainder as she can. Hoping for the best and being done with this stuff. Messy when an employer goes out of business, bankrupcy or not.

Sun looks like it is coming out, so I might try to do some laundry today. Tomorrow I head for Jekyll Island. Any advice for doing stuff there????

GOOD MORNING ALL

We are under a tornado watch now until about 8:00 tonight....OH JOY! Weldon called me and told me to come here into their house in case it gets to be a warning. The dogs and I are in the screen room for now, and the rancher has just spread his fields prior to the rain with what smells like pig poop-----wonderful odor!

I have pretty much given up the idea of buying a truck, as the hassle of trying to transfer my registration ad plates to a new one is more than I can deal with. Trucks have to be inspected in NY but not down here, so that is out. I can't see myself driving home to a DMV office, getting inspected, and then driving back down here for another month! I would have loved a new one, but now will check to see if I opt to extend the warranty if I can quit monthly payments on it when I do sell back home, or if I am committed to the whole price.

Happy Thursday to all, and may we avoid those danged tornadoes.

Happy travels!

Sunny and warm for us here probably in the fifties. A perfect temperature for me! They are starting some of the work on the house :( O I don't like disruption not to mention the cost. The electric is done except for one outlet that we'll need added for the sump pump, WOW electricians make big bucks. I think I lot of younger people are wasting their money going to college when they could make a lot more by being an electrician or plumber. At least they could probably find a job.
Soos, I think you made a good decision on keeping your truck. You would have lost so much by trading and you said it was like new. My van is a 2005 and it runs great and still looks good. I only have 75,000 miles on it and I figure I'm saving money every year I drive it. Need to start putting aside money for when I do have to replace it.
Time to do a few errands. Travel safe those on the road and have a good time all who are visiting!!

Judy, there's a paved bike trail all the way around the island. Azaleas should be blooming while you're there...very pretty.

Good evening
So tired of all our unusual cold, wet weather - don't think I've ben warm in more than a week. However, things are looking up - weatherman says warm, sunny weekend and start to next week. I'm ready.
Still poking around on catching up on stuff around here - nothing exciting.
Wishing all some warm sun for tomorrow.
