So am enjoying someone else's typo ... I hope she will buy it used, but butting it used might be more interesting.

I'm not planning on getting anything else but I'm always looking. I call it market research. When you see what you want you will know about what the price should be. About 1994 I wanted a motorhome with twin beds and a little more room than the 24' one I had. I looked for about 2 years until I found the one that spoke to me. I was going to my sisters and passed a used RV lot and saw one I wanted to look at. Drove it around the block and told the man I would take it. Probably not a smart thing to do but it was exactly what I wanted. While we were doing the paper work a couple came in to buy it. They had looked at it but were thinking about it. If I had thought about it they would have had it instead of me. I kept it for 10 years and loved it. Still miss the floorplan it had.

Hi Carman,
I am also a newbie and a wannabe. We have about five years to go. I think you are right. It's going to take everyone of those years/months/days to be ready for this.

another way to think about it.....like researching having/raising a baby. You can always read a bunch of stuff but in the end it is a leap of faith and you just jump. There are no books that can prepare you for all of it. But there is a spirit of discovery that can help you make it through, learn, laugh and survive the adventures... :)
