St. Paddy's Day with Irmi and Steve....we kinda' just hung out until the corned beef and cabbage was ready....then we all just "Beefed out"...





Oh, and before I forget....after 8 years of lugging our laundry to the laundry room....The Sultan bought me a wagon....

With the four of you, I have no doubt there's always lots of good food around. Love the smiling faces. And cute wagon. I got a smaller carrier that's waterproof for when I walk to laundry or the store in Alaska. I know, I know, I have a cart. But I still usually walk. Last summer I had to make myself drive the car at least every other week. Here it's a tad easier as I have to drive to the store.

The four of us got together for dinner again this evening. Today we had Shepherd's Pie. Forgot to take a picture of the meal but we sat out afterwards solving the problems of the world.

A GTG with those four people would be better than a trip to a gourmet restaurant in NY city any day! YUMMY looking meals, and with Irmi's famous crock pot sitting on the table, there was bound to be nothing but deliciousness on those plates!

Two days of touring.....
1st is our trip to Savannah yesterday....



A tribute to Irmi's heritage....German Settlers

The following explains the photo above



Spring time in Savannah....I know what the bush is but can't spell it....




Then today was Ft. Pulaski and Tybee Island....



No, Mitch, you don't have to bail us out....the fact that we had to get back to Spinner and Teddy for dog walks inspired us to do a break from the Civil War "Pokey" at Ft. Pulaski....




Then on to the "Crab Shack" for a photo op..


I think my camera is dying.... alot of photos have this distortion with the pink/purple haze...above

But we did make it to "Doc's Bar" on Tybee Island....


We decided to get back to the campground to warm up (the wind was very chilly at the ocean..) rest, and walk the dogs....Dock/Ernie (hence the trip to Doc's Bar.. ) is making us Fajitas for supper.....We had a great couple of days, don't cha' think.....

Tomorrow, we'll just hang out....

Steve & I have had so much fun with Lori & Ernie. They are showing us every crook and cranny of the area as well as being the coolest neighbors! Well, it's time to head for a fajita dinner!
