A little late, but wanted to wish everyone a Happy Paddy's day...
Sarah, I can imagine there is a let down after all the fun & company - especially when greeted with a pile of mail! Hopefully you'll be able to hit the road soon again & continue the fun of GTGs.
Liz, I love going to different churches - even here in town. I like getting a sense of the real life of the surrounding community. I have also loved all your posts of your travels - thanks for taking us along.
I've got a quiet day finally - oldest daughter & girls left for Texas around noon. Others filtered out shortly thereafter - just me, the college kids, the dogs & DD's cats... peaceful & quiet - amen!
New pup (Sadie) did really well with all the comings & goings - she is appropriately socialized now.
We've had friends & family, son's Weimaraner, granddaughter's boxer/pit mix, cats & tons of activity the last 4 days - she loves the attention & fit in like she's always been a part of this crazy family.
Here are a couple of pics I managed to get...
Grandson & Sadie
Sadie - hanging with DD's BF
Playing with granddaughters
Side by side with her idol - Sierra...
They look like they're the same size but Sierra has about 15 pounds on Sadie & is about 2 inches taller. Sadie wants to be her BFF & Sierra tolerates her, but the age difference has its challenges. Thankfully Sadie respects Sierra to no end & tries to 'pet' her, 'kiss' her & then lets her go off on her own without any protest.
Don't know how can anyone think this dog should have been put down??
Well, I'd better get a bit of work done...
Hope everyone enjoys St. Paddy's Day... Stay safe...
