First Kayak Trip

Today I took my new kayak out for the first time to Del Valle Lake in Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore, CA. It was 78 degrees and a beautiful day!

No Linda, just drove over. There were a few other kayakers, but it's a big lake so nobody close by. Was great fun though and everything went smoothly. Don't know why the third calf in the last pic was cut out
. He was the cutest too 
.The kayak was a little heavy but I managed. May get a cart.Sandi

we used to take a canoe out but haven't done that for several years so enjoy
being on the water

I loved your pictures Sandi. My kayak is still in the box. Going to take it out when I get to Lake Murray for it's maiden voyage.
It sure looked like it was a beautiful day for your kayaking. 78 degrees sounds really good.

OK Sharon, this is the closest I can get. No toes, but you can see the kayak.
