Windy here today, but the sun is shining...hope it warms up soon... ;)

I need more coffee to get the brain going, so will make this short....

Have a great day, all...

Good morning Lori and all to come. Boomerang weather here. Warm yesterday. Then I let Tyler outside and he runs right back in after doing his business. I check thermometer and it is 30 :o It is sunny, but cold. Not much here. Grocery shopping and continue to sort and organize RED. We have now owned her for one week and she still has not moved one inch from where they parked her when they delivered her. I am going to rectify that today!! Whether an inch or a few miles, she's gonna move!!! Everyone have a great day. Stay dry, warm and safe. Aloha, Red

Good Morning All - the sun is turning the sky outside pink and red in its rising. Today is supposed to be warmer than yesterday and less windy. We were supposed to be further north today but are still in Mazatlan. The Jeep is still in the dealership - they finally finished the work on the transmission last night and called us that it was ready to be picked up but we were out to dinner with friends and it was just about closing time. So this morning hoorey we will finally get Willie back - been a little over a week.
Our friends who were here over the weekend with a cracked hitch on there 5th wheel left yesterday morning but had to return after about 20 miles when they found another new crack. So the welders were here most of yesterday reinforcing everything on the hitch. They will leave again this morning.
My broken toe is keeping me off my feet some - feels fine without a shoe and I can walk fine - but put a shoe on and owee.
Doing better on my knitting - going to make a patch afagan for our on the way 3rd great grand child. Have 5 months to do it.
It is snowing hard at home today according to the hometown paper - schools are closed.
Still working on the blog daily = so we manage to keep busy even without our loved car Willie.
Hope all ride out the nasty weather that is passing through. Drvie careful and stay dry and warm.

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

I didn't relize you had a broken toe, Carol----that can be very debilitating as you need your feet to move around! Sure hope you have better luck with your jeep than your friends did with their hitch.

Lori is busy with hooks and needles again, making pretties for babies!

And Red is getting ready to see if her RED willl actually run! I don't know how you have put off this maiden trip for so long, even if she wasn't packed and loaded and ready to camp in! Hope this maiden voyage will be a fun one!

Windy and cool here in Orlando again, but not really cold. Coffee time for me and breakfast time for my poochies, so off I go. Molly got her last vaccination yesterday and is now good to go. I have no idea what we will do today, but that is the nicest part of being retired-----no schedules to have to follow!

Hope you all have a fun time wherever you may be!

Happy travels!

Good Morning... we did not get a dusting of snow we got dumped on big time yesterday and last night... poor Shadow could hardly get through it to do his business... I have a letter to mail but will not be going out in this to do it... maybe a carrier pigeon would do for me...
Carol be careful with that toe... I re-broke mine because I put on shoes and walked to my grandson's graduation a year ago...
Coffee is good... hope you all have a great day

Good Morning,

I was so surprised to have Carolb come back last night, but mechanic had put another job ahead of her 8 o'clock appointment. She had a good day tho and it was good to have one last cuppa with her before she left this morning. Unfortunately for her, my get up time was not to be before 7 and that was with an alarm clock! A morning person I am not.

4 quads had a great ride in the desert yesterday in beautiful 'back' country. Spotted one non-poisonous snake and a bluish lizard. Main destination was a questionable human footprint in sandstone - hard to decide how it got there.

I have been suffering with a cold or allergies since I arrived here - everyone has put up with my gravelly voice and coughing. Can't decide if I have energy to pack up and leave today or if it will wait until tomorrow. Would like to stop and do laundry. Also, the furnace thermostat that was suppose to arrive by Monday at the repair shop still wasn't here yesterday.

Safe travel and happy day to all!

Carol, I found out how aggravating a broken toe can be. One of the cats broke one or two of mine over a year ago. I was walking down the hall and one ran into me as I was taking a step and jammed my left foot into the back of my right leg. I don't think I kept them taped long enough and have re-injured them several times. I have them taped now. At least mine feel better with shoes on but I only wear tennis shoes or Clarks. The bones must have shifted and now I'm getting a callus where I never had one before.

Carolb, glad you got your repairs done and got on the road again. You and Sharon don't get in too much trouble.

Not much going on today. I have a club meeting at 6:30. I wonder if I can get away with a margarita tonight. ;) I'm not crazy about the restaurant we are going to. We haven't been there in a couple of years because everyone was upset with them the last meeting we had there. We were 25 women and they put one teenager waiting on us. We didn't get out of there until after 9:30 and some took their food to go. They are suppose to have new management. We'll see.
