Another Mini GTG in Ocala

In one of the organizations I belonged to, the term "gone west" meant someone had died. I hope that everyone's alive and kicking when you get to travel, AVA.

More happening here at Wandering Oaks. We had some repeat company stop by this morning. Ms Peggy. She also said she thought it was still too cold to go back north, yet.



Steve checking out the newly pumped up tires on Irmi's new to here bike. Looks like it is working fine.



BY now he seem used to watching cameras pulled out right and left.



And only one day late, Irmi and Steve got a dinner out to help them celebrate. I had ordered a side of crab claws that the waitress had forgotten to bring out. I hadn't reminded her because truthfully my dinner was ample enough...BUT when she realized that she had forgotten, I got the claws for free. Free is good...but the seafood was sort of dry by then. Sarah practiced her ability to crack claws with tutoring by Steve.



Okay, previewing the pictures makes me realize that the new PB is working differently than it used to and I will need to refine my skills in this area.....

Tomorrow we are hoping that Dawn and Barb will make it over for a late morning visit.

It was so good to see Peggy again. Amazing at all the travel she has done since Oct.

Also wonderful that we got to share celebration of Irmi & Steve anniversary.

If that wasn't enough, we had a big seafood dinner. I liked the crab leg but it is a lot of work for tiny bits. You know the portions were generous when Tina turns down an ice cream event later at the campground. In case you don't remember, she is the one who declared Ice Cream as a major food group.

And another day...it continues. Dawn and Barb Z came over to share some birthday cake for Dawn's birthday and Irmi's left over pulled pork . And Liz stopped by after her appointments.

The weather cooperated for our mid day gtg.
What fun to share Dawn's birthday and finally meet Zee. She kept us entertained with stories of her RV mishaps. She and Nan should write a book about what all can go wrong and one can still laugh about it later.
