Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sue, I'm glad your back is improving. I had to laugh at the mental image of the girls licking your face when you're on the floor doing back exercises. William does that too. I swear he thinks he's helping. :D

I had a grand lunch with friends yesterday, and afterwards I went to the Fish & Wildlife office and picked up my national park pass. Excitement! Today is a little trip to Cabela's. More excitement! (Maybe I'd better leave my credit cards at home.)

A wonderful Saturday to everybody!

It's another gray day. I thought the weather guessers said no rain today. The local station said we might have a freeze next weekend but the national forecast is just 37. We have been lucky this winter, no really cold weather just a lot of rain.

Sue, you have a beautiful place but a lot to maintain in the winter time. I would sure want to be out of there in the winter time, not going North. My brother that lives in Canada likes the cold weather. He will be in short sleeve T-shirts in the winter time. I was wearing a coat in his house. I couldn't put on enough clothes to stay warm outside.

Red, don't hurt yourself trying to get the 5th wheel ready. Hope you get someone to help you move the recliners. Ask Carolyn about trying to move recliners.

I tried to run my generator yesterday and it wouldn't even turn over. Since the last thing I had worked on was the battery cables I am wondering if something wasn't hooked back up. I looked at the cables and they look right and the bolts are tight. It's always something. It's such a pain to get it to the shop.

Tomorrow the club I belong to is having a cake bingo fund raiser and I need to make 2 cakes. Of course I didn't get anything I needed the last time I went to Walmart. The thing starts at 11:00 tomorrow and goes until 3:00. Who wants to go to a bingo at noon on Sunday? Bingo is about my least favorite thing to do. Somebody just shoot me!

Good afternoon all. I am in Yogi Bear cg in Madison Fla. Yogi is hibernating, only a couple campers and some people in a cabin here. This is sa good place to stop for those traveling 75 to I 10 and they take PA. I could have gone a little farthur but the next place I thought about stopping would have been a little too far. I asked once if other people had this issue plannning routes but I guess not! Ya'll have a great day, FUN and SAFE! Wendy

Wendy, I'm not know for making very good plans. I never know what time I'm going to get on the road or how many stop I will make. About 3 or 4 in the afternoon I start thinking about where I might stay. I have my bed and bathroom with me so if I can't find a campground I could just park somewhere. I use to get to campgrounds late but I try not to do that anymore. I never have had to stay at Walmart yet.

I will have to remember the KOA since we are having to make 2 trips a year to Florida.

Martha, sounds like the two of us are going to have to get part time jobs to keep up with RV repairs. I think they picked a bad time for Bingo too, hope you get your cakes made. I thawed some peaches from my freezer to make a cobbler. I ate so many they were soooo good, I had to downsize my cobbler. I used Crisco for the shortening for the first time I think since you stopped being able to get Fluffo. Usually just use a stick of butter, the crust is so flaky I can hardly pick up the little cinnamon/sugar sticks I made with the left over crust. It also has a funny smell but can't imagine anything could be wrong with Crisco there is probably so much stuff in it. I'm beginning to wish I'd just saved the peaches to eat with ice cream.

Wendy, I can't figure out the timing thing either. I remember coming home from Arkansas I had planned a stop at a campground in Blytheville, when I got there it was in a really bad section of town so i stayed at a WalMart. Actually worked out well as I went out to dinner at this really friendly bar attached to a nice restaurant and had a great time talking to everyone.
Sue, I agree with Martha, I'd be out of there in the winter to much work and too much cold weather. It's hard to decide I know but you'll eventually come to some sort of a resolution. Just remember don't work until you are no longer willing or able to follow your dreams. Makes me think of a country song that says, dreams move on if you wait too long.

Wendy, glad to know you made it there safe and sound. Get a good night's rest. I will take a look at where that CG is for our travels back west since they take PA
