Good Morning from the snowy 45th,
Well, the most recent snowstorm has passed on, but not before dumping me with around 4-5 inches of snow here, high winds causing problems all over, more snow in other places, windchills in the below zero readings and closing every school and what not in the northern lower and eastern U.P. of Michigan. Now I am sitting here with this back situation facing a drive and deck full of snow Louise, you mentioned that maybe my neighbor whom I have helped last summer while his wife was getting lung transplant surgey, would be willing to do my drive. I know he certainly would be, except that they are in FL for the winter. Her doctors suggested she get out of the cold due to her lung transplants. So I am keeping their drive ipen this winter. Starting to feel like i own the place
You all are welcme for breakfast this mrning, but this cook is not messing in the kitchen much, so you will have to fix your own. I have eggs, bacon and sausage here along with bread for toast and some OJ.
I"m so enjoying reading about everybody's adventures right now and all the excitement about getting new rigs, new tow hook ups, converting vans into RV's of your choice, the GTG's, the travels etc. So much fun going on and I'm sitting here in the frozen north dreaming.
Went to my chiropractor yesterday and got another adjustment on my back as well as another laser treatment. I'm feeling a bit better now and the pain in one area is gone. That was mostly "referred" pain, caused by the disc being out of place. It will take about two weeks for everything to get back to normal roughly. Due to the fact that I go to her on a regular basis and keep my spine and body "tuned up", it won't take me as long as somebody who doesn't see a chiropractor when they need one or just goes for rountine checkups like I do. I have learned so much about the human body over the years I have been going there.
As I start feeling better, I have to keep reminding myself not to get too carried away here as my energy level is returning and I know there are things needing doing around here. Maybe I should train the grils to sweep the floor with the tails
Got some sad news yesterday afternoon, that one of our co workers who used to work at the park, passed away this past weekend. He was 73, but had been having some health issues over the past year or two. He was one of those "grump old men" you would call him, but very loveable. Did maintenance. No funeral. Family plans a gathering later this summer, but some of us at the park are trying to see if we can do something too. FB has been busy with chatter among us.
Time to run along here and let the rest of you start chiming in. Hope you all have a wonderful day today, no matter what you are doing.
