Hey gals! Just have a minute or so here at the library before heading to work. Sure do miss having internet service at home! I can live without the cable but am bored stiff w/o being able to get on-line!

Very cold here today. High of 5 above! Colder tomorrow and then a big snowstorm on Thursday and Friday. I am really sick of winter!!!!

My dad isn't doing well physically or financially, etc. My brothers and I are going to have a family meeting to see what our next options are, as this is getting very serious. Now I have my dad's renter and neighbors calling me concerned. Will let you know what happens...

JaneFromMaryland here in Lake Manatee State Park in Bradenton, FL. Was a jumper recently between Myakka, Lake Manatee, Oscar Scherer, and now Lake Manatee again for four nights before nine nights at Koreshan between Ft. Myers and Naples. I love this area and the jumping gives me the excuse to run the roads shopping and eating out. Took advantage of Hungry Howie's next to a gas station ($3.83/gallon) in Sarasota today. Warm and dry but breezy and challenging for bike riding. Feel certain Hillsborough River State Park was the perfect setting for a GTG! Enjoyed meeting so many in this group and looking forward to future GTGs. Should be back in Southern Maryland April 1 or so. Everyone stay safe! Jane

Rainy day today....coming in here late...did laundry and that's about it....just got a touch of the winter time YUCKS.....I'll be better soon.....

Carol, be sure to let me know when you might be going to Wickham Campground, as I will plan to head there too for a week if I can afford it. It sounds like a neat spot, and it's so close to me. Would love to meet Donna, too!

Barbie, not good news about your dad at all-----sure hope you and your brothers can come up with a plan to keep him safe and allow him some quality of life. Keep us posted.
