Exactly. I don't need my eyebrows done ... but have to admit the lips would be nice :) However, I'm thrilled with the eyeliner. Never needed it refreshed yet, but will be willing to when/if the time comes.

Nice photos and great car, Dawn. Congratulations!

The Fit is the top car on our list. My husband's research tells him that the 2013 manual version is the easiest to tow four down, so we're keeping that in mind. I haven't driven a stick for many years, but hopefully it's like riding a bike!

Emily, manual you can get anything and tow all wheels down. The reason many have the Fit is because you can tow it all wheels down in automatic. There are MANY cars now that can be done with ... not like in the old days.

I like my car, because I find it the easiest to two all wheels down ... don't have to do anything but have the car in the right gear, and key in the on position. So that's where to do the homework. Some cars require you to pull a fuse. And make sure you get the right model, etc, in whichever you get, if automatic, that can be towed all wheels down. Do NOT depend on salespeople. They really don't know.

Motorhome magazine has all the cars by all the years, etc. If you want previous years, some of us have the files we could send you (as they now charge for them).

We have a "Hissy Fit", a "Coniption Fit", so what name have you picked?

Cool, thanks Beth...I didn't know that any manual could be towed all four down. We still like the Fit best for other reasons -- primary being that it's a great bike hauler and gets good gas mileage. But my DH read that starting with 2013, the automatic Fit could NOT be towed four down without some adjustments, possibly pulling the fuse, possibly more (I can't recall). That's why he wanted to go with manual, since we're planning to buy a 2013.

If anyone has the 2013 Motorhome and would be willing to confirm what I've written above (about the automatic Fit), that would be great.

Thanks!

They added a switch to my Fit that I hit every time I hook up. It connects a trickle charge from the Short Bus to the battery in the Fit to prevent any battery drains....

Tina, I will ask them to do that next week when I get my FIT setup to tow. Birdie was telling me about that too.

Seems if anyone is shopping for a toad, this forum is the best place for info. I really like yours Dawn..you are about to get everything just like you want it now. I got a little behind on keeping up with the forum. Are you now workamping? and where?

Nancy, we will be Workamping beginning in April in OK at a SP. I really like my toad. It is so good to have the freedom to just go where and when I want to.

Is all going OK for you? Have been wondering. I sure hope so.

Just want to amend, that I didn't think there's a manual that can't be towed all wheels down ... but have been told with front wheel drive, they all can't be ... so check the Motorhome Guides for any year/vehicle you might be interested in.

I just went to Motorhome Magazine and they are not yet showing a 2013 list ... the 2012 list is still free though ... here's the page they are on, so keep an eye out and eventually the 2013 guide will be out:

http://www.motorhome.com/download-dinghy-guides/

An aside - if I were to be buying a new toad, would be looking, if possible for 4-wheel drive ... would have made having one worthwhile to me in many more ways than just having a car. BUT, would also want the lower weight. Can't have everything. So pay attn to what you like to do ... where you want to go with it.

I have a Dodge Dakota 4x4, automatic. It is easy to hook up and once I put a battery disconnect on, it eliminated my battery drain while towing.
