Good morning all. The sun is out and it is a crisp 35. Carolb and I are having coffee and she is making ready to hit the road and head toward San Antonio for her next stop heading west. Lets see who she has a gtg with next :P Tyler, April & Tigger are out having so much fun. Tyler is really gonna miss his new friends. I'm gonna miss Carol. Isn't it fun when you are able to bond with fellow adventurers so easily??? yesterday we drove over to the dealer and Carol acted like she was interested in a MH and we looked at my soon to be my new baby (if they accept the offer DH will make today). Will keep you posted. I'm sitting on pins and needles. Everyone have a great day and stay safe on the road. aloha y'all

Ava, I have plenty of coffee for everyone. Several flavors along with plain. Can grind up the beans and have a good cup. I am so tickled for you and your tiles for your rig. I cannot wait to see pics when you are finished.

Red, I am sure keeping my fingers crossed for you. Tell Carolb to drive safe and let us know how her trip is going.

Today is going to be kind of a laid back day for me. Right now, only plans are to get my chores done and go to Lowe's. Barb is coming over this evening and we are going to have Chinese food for supper. Neither one of us has been feeling like cooking lately. I need to get out of that mode. Will be working on my menu plan and grocery list starting this afternoon. When I have a menu plan, I do better at cooking good food. Otherwise, I tend to just throw whatever is easy into the microwave or as Wendy says, get my food out a window.

I got my new little Panda washer in yesterday. I really like it. It doesn't do as big a load as the Wonder Wash, but I can set the timer and it does the agitating for me. Doing 2 smaller loads is actually easier since I can have the spin dryer going on the first load while I am getting the second load started. The rod I have set up in my shower for drying will only hold enough hangers to do these 2 smaller loads. It equals out to about the same amount of clothes a standard washing machine will do in one load. The little washer is really light weight and fits just fine in the closet I have set aside for my washer and dryer.

Need to go get another cup of coffee. Hope everyone has a great Saturday and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Okay, I put another pot of coffee on, Ava.... ;) I sure do need more....

Spent yesterday doing some shopping with The Sultan.....working on another baby blanket to send to another new great-niece who's to arrive in May, and got a new book for the Nook.... ;)

We talked about washing the outside of the 5er, but decided it could wait until next week....will clean the inside then, too...

Glad Carolb is getting to do mini-gtgs on her way West....aren't the great!!

Okay, since I wasn't on here yesterday, have a lot of reading to do to catch up....so I'll stop for now...

Have a great day, all.... :D

Oh I need that coffee this morning it is only 15 with a wind chill of 2... Shadow had a restless night not exactly sure that is until I got up and he did what he never does he pooped on the floor... grrrrr not good... glad it was not the other... poo is much easier to clean up and spray the spot than the other!!

My tally this morning is -3 for a total of -16 so far... It is so true when you don't eat you do not lose... still setting the timer for 2 to 3 hours and eating... hope it continues...

Wow the wedding will be fast June 22... I thought they would not wait long as they have gone together for so many years... now they have to get the first floor of their house done so they will have a place to live... work never ends... wish I were strong enough to help... but I will take a meal over to them a few times on the Sats that they work on the house... my son in law is redoing the electric in the house and then they will put a skin on and blow insulation in...

Ava you have done such a wonderful job getting your finances in order... keep it up... Dawn sounds like you have a great setup with your new washer... Red waiting with anticipation for the results of the bid on the MH...

Take care everyone and drive careful...

Sunny and cold here this morning too, nothing planned for the day except maybe the Winter Farmers Market. This is the first year we've had one in the winter and it has been really nice. I had no idea there were so many growers in the area & most are organic or working toward being organic. Several sell to St Louis and Chicago during the summer months so don't come to the local market. I can get eggs, greens, frozen chickens, turkeys, pecans and many homemade selections of cookies, cakes, soap and clothing. This morning they are having a seed exchange. I won't go the reasons here, but untreated seeds are getting precious and many of the old varieties are disappearing.
The other biggie of the day will be the place that did Elsie's repairs are coming with a flat bed trailer to take her away  I posted about what happened in the Campfire section last night. She has a belt that has slipped off or needs an alternator....seems like the decision not to got to the FL GTG was the right one to make as I wouldn't have made it very far.
Ava sounds like you have the remodeling project really well organized, wish I had those skills. We're going to have the interior of the house painted this spring and making the color choices will be a challenge I'm not looking forward to for sure.
Red it does look like Tyler is enjoying having April and Tigger, good picture! Hope everything works out with the MH offer today.
Dawn your new washer sounds great, that would be a real priority for me on the road.
Carolb safe travels today.
Time to start the day here Toby is letting me know it is breakfast time.

GOOD MORNING ALL!

It's a cool 52 degree morning here in the Orlando area, and the sun is shining brightly. Coffee is hot and there is plenty of it, so c'mon in!

Kathy and I will head over to Sea World this afternoon to see the free Beach Boys concert at 4:00. It's been a long time since I have seen them, and should be a fun time.

Tomorrow, we will head to the trailer in St. Cloud for one night, to meet up with Wendy, Sarah, Linda, Sandy, and possibly Pete at a little mini GTG at Linda's house. It will be very cold, I know, but maybe a campfire will feel good. Other than that, it will be a laid back weekend looking for more houses for sale for Kathy and her daughter who wishes to move back down here and find employment. We also need to find her another bike, as the one she bought a while ago kept breaking at the crank and we could not get it tight enough to stay together. Thankfully, Walmart took it back with no questions asked and credited her debit card in short order! But now she is bikeless once again.

Hope you all have a great day doing something fun for yourselves!

Happy travels!

Good Morning ladies,

I've been trying to post for the last few minutes and getting nowhere's, so will try it again  Have copied and copied and posted and posted only to have it rejected. And now have lost the original post. Oh well, you didn't miss anything anyway, just jabbering

So much been going on these past couple of days I see. I can juse feel the excitement with Ava getting stuff ready to make her rig into a new "home" and Red and DH getting ready to hopefully buy and drive off that new MH. Course will be waiting for pictures like everybody else  Also see that Sarah and Wendy had a few 'road adventures" on their way to their campground, Carolb is still chugging along on her way west and having some mini GTG's along the way, Dawn has a new washer, some GTG's being planned for the upcoming summer. Busy, busy, busy and keeping the ecomony going too

As for me here, not much doing. Am nursing a sore back and had to go back to chiropractor for another adjustment yeserday. is getting better slow but sure, with today felling a little better. Am sitting with heating pad on and half watching a movie. Gets frustrating though when you want to be doing other things. Will just lay low for a couple of days and rest it. Only trouble is, mom nature keeps dumping the white stuff out there and I need to get the blower out, the which of i did yesterday. Also happy to report that Ms. Tesssa's bacterai infection is clearing up and she also chomped down an entire bowl of food last night for the first time in I don't knw when. So she's hanging in there.

There have been some inquiring minds asking for pictures of my bathroom repainting and here they are. It's a small bathroom, so hard to get pictures of. But we all know what showers look like anyway. The color is Balsam Fir by Behr.

So with that, i am going to end this jabbering and get my act in gear here. Time to get out my jammies, make my bed and go do some figuing. Getting close to that time to start planning my next move as far as my SS is concerned, so need to get out pencil and paper. Have a wonderful day all and those on the road stay safe and enjoy your adventures.

plans changed already, usually why jello is so good :D
son came in and expressed the desire to get the base built for the shed today as he had no apts to do for now, and of course
that could change by the end of the day. So, guess I'll go to HD and get the lumber for my shed. Trip to the rv can wait.
Love the bathroom color, I always did like the "grey" shades and I've picked a similar color for my walls in the rv, only
lighter with a faux finish to them. That part is still in the works though, no definite decisions yet. If you look at my avatar,
notice the wall behind me, that is one of SIL faux finish at his house. I'm thinking of similar only in a light grey tone.

Chilly here, too, but sure not as bad as at some of you guys! LOL! It's going to be another pretty day here according to the weather man. We've got what they call breezy and I call windy, but it's supposed to be close to 80 today. Mild Santa Ana's. Really, not a lot going on here, just trying to get some work done as far as getting rid of "stuff". I have wayyy to much "stuff". I'm thinking of calling my niece to see if she wants to come over here, go thru the "stuff" and stage a garage sale for a percentage. I would really like to leave here in June with the feeling that I accomplished SOMETHING...even if it's a little bit. Right now I'm just depressed about it. Feb and March are bad months for me anyway without adding to it.

Pretty color in your bathroom, Sue. GL Chris, on the MH. Remember what I told you about the jeeps....Those Chrysler PT cruisers are pretty big inside and towable 4 down. Just a suggestion for Sas.

Woke up around 0400 this morning, rolled out around 0430...not really by choice, but I was keeping the dog awake tossing and turning and she let me know about it. Beautiful sunrise, so thought I would share it with you.

Hey, look what followed me home! Think I can keep it?

She's a project, but first we're going to have a shake-down cruise, down the Natchez Trace and then to Tampa to see Sister #1. We'll leave when the license plates arrive -- probably about a week from now.

Anybody near the Trace the week after next? Want to have lunch?

Also, I want to have house batteries installed while I'm in the Tampa area. Any recommendations?

And now I am going to go play with Adi. Goodness, I am giddy!

Sue, I love that color. It really sets off all your decorative things.

So glad to hear Ms. Tessa is doing so much better. Take care of your back! You don't want to be down longer.

Ava, don't you just love the way the best laid plans can change.

I just love the new van. Of course you can keep it. 8-) Enjoy your trips in it.

Absolutely gorgeous day here today - sun and I'm in a sundress. You know I'm happy if I can wear my sundresses early in the day :) Needed a sweatshirt over it for Peaches morning walk, but just barely.

Thinking today will be a lazy day with a book, sitting outside in my rocking chair enjoying the day.

Yesterday I went to a Sculpture Festival in Tucson with my friend Molly who is staying down the road this week. We had a ball. The sculptures were awesome and maybe someday I'll get my blog up-to-date  and you'll all be able to see some of them. Today, Molly is going to hike at Picacho SP where she's staying and tomorrow we'll get together again for more sight seeing and gabbing. I considered calling her and taking Peaches over to the SP to hike, also, but Molly has a hike planned that would do me in way before half-way ... so better I not ruin her chances of making it. She's already concerned she's not in shape for it ... and those who know her, knows she runs and is in great shape ...

OK, enough blathering from me. Have a great day, all.
