I finally got around to officially signing up for the forum so I can post. Really enjoyed the Hillsborough River SP campout and meeting new people as well as hanging out with some I met last year. I've been reading everyone's blogs, under Linda's name, and looking at the pictures from those of you down there in the Keys. Wow, some really great pictures. I'm surprised you were brave enough to go in the water this time of year because it's way too cold for me (I know, true Florida cracker talking!) Have fun RVing.

...About the chill in the water....Liz and I both had top "skins" on.....It was warm enough that I didn't need to wear the bottoms that I had bought. I knew I wanted to kayak and snorkel while I was down here and knowing the variations of temperatures in FL in the winter I didn't want to miss the opportunities because of a little chill. I don't do cold well at all.

Welcome Sandy. The water was 74 and warm enough for this Florida Cracker. The day of snorkeling was great, You can get a sunburn fast here in the sun, but the cool breeze makes you think the sun isn't that intense. Glad to have met you, hope our paths cross again.
