It's not morning any longer but i am still drinking coffee..so i guess that counts. We are getting snow and more snow Started out with freezing rain, then sleet and changed over to snow. I have a pork roast in the oven and think I will spend the rest of my day in my sewing room. I have so many scraps of fabric and lengths that I no longer remember what I wanted to construct out of them that I have decided I should take up sewing and donating to a charitable organization. Doing internet research I found many sites that take home constructed sewn.knitted and corcheted items. Two organizations caught my eye..the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and a group providing layettes for infants "Bundles of Love" peeked my interest. i think what i have in material and yarn would serve the residents of the reservation better. I could make small quilts or childrens clothing out of the yard goods and many scarves and hats from the yarn. For myself I want to make new curtains for the Shasta but it's in storage parked in back of the pole barn and access isn't easy. And it's too dark and cold to work out there. How i envy you all who are in areas where you have no snow. I"m ready for a trip.

My dad's favorite cake was pineapple upside down cake. I had an allergic reaction to pineapple in high school so try not to eat much of it. I had never eaten Kiwi fruit until I worked with a girl that ate them all the time. She got me eating them. About the third time I ate them I would throw up if I ate one. My MIL had a neighbor that ate only raw fruit and vegetables and cooked beans. She told me I couldn't possibly be allergic to Kiwi. I tried eating one again and after throwing up for several hours I told her I might not be allergic to them but I'm not eating another one.

I would like to have one of the trikes too but don't know how I would carry it. Carolyn and I went to one of the Getaway Gals rallys last year and they had a bike ride planned. I didn't have a bike and wasn't going to buy one just for that rally. After seeing 2 ladies fall off their bikes, one of them twice, I decided I don't need a bike.

We are suppose to get some severe thunderstorms this afternoon, tomorrow and Tuesday. So far the rain and tornado watch is North of I-10. It warmed back up to 75 and it's very windy. Bet Sarah and Wendy are glad they are in the Keys. Hope they don't have any damage.
