Droid PhotoBucket App

Droid PhotoBucket App

Postby Redwahine » Fri Feb 08, 2013 4:47 pm

Just an FYI. Throughout threads many have mentioned the band width or amount of data to upload pix to PhotoBucket. I found a way that works well for me and saves data and upload time. I use my smart phone to take most of my pix. Even if I have my camera with me, I forget to use it. There is an app for PB for both iPhone and Droid. I know it works on Iphone in a similar fashion. I currently use a droid phone, so I will explain the Droid app.

Install PhotoBucket app for Droid (free)
Link it to your PB acct

Take a pic
Open pic gallery
Select a pic
Select the Share button.
Options include FB, email, message and now includes PB as a choice
Select PB
Photo is uploaded to your PB acct.

It uses what ever is available to upload. 3G, 4g, wifi. And it is fast!!! So takes very little data time / band width.

Now you can use your phone, iPad, tablet, computer to access the code to copy and place on the forum :P

They must have fixed a lot of the "bugs" cause I have tried this app several times and it crashed a lot. (iPhone/iPad). Just checked in the app store and reviews still aren't good, but very happy you are having good results.

I haven't used the app for the iPhone, but the one for my droid phone works well and the one for my iPad has not been a problem yet.

Thanks, I ill at least try it. With my iPhone I am learning how easy it is to take a picture and post to FB. This, too, I can try. :)

I've used it a couple of times and so far so good! I've been using my droid phone for pictures, too, for some reason.
