Fickle Friday

Good morning everyone. We get a taste of really beautiful weather and them it turns on you again. This morning it is overcast, cloudy and threatening. Fickle I say. Pray that all of you up in the Northeast are doing OK and surviving the big Nor'easter storm and staying warm. Just a quick note as I head out the door. Early Dr. appt down @ MDA. Annual follow up with my thyroid. Tests today. See Dr. on Monday. Got to feed Tyler and get him pottied and try to decide what to wear to get me through the day of fickle weather. Red, we had little rain showers here last night. Didn't stop the fun though. Barb Zee bought steaks and veggies for us to grill and roast. Carolb and my Aunt came and joined us. Paul made us a loaf of his bread to add to the meal. There is enough left that I am going to use it to make French Toast probably tomorrow morning. We all had such a good time visiting. I was really glad Carolb was able to join us as she is heading west the first of next week. She is going to be at Irmi and Steve's this morning, so if my FIT is ready as promised, I will be heading over there after picking it up. Will get to see her one more time before she leaves.

I got Barb Zee back yesterday. I have 3 birds because she kept insisting I had plenty of room in my rig for a bird. I am really glad she did because I do enjoy listening to and watching my parakeets. I figured she had 3 dogs, I have 3 dogs, she has a bird, I have birds and I have a fish, but she did not. I have remedied that. I got her an aquarium and a Betta fish yesterday. Hers is bright red to match her living room. I set up the aquarium and had the fish in it when she got here last night. I am going to take it and the food and water conditioners that go with it to her this evening. Now we both have the same critters.

Got to finish my coffee and then get my rear in gear. I need to get dressed and fix my hair for the day. I haven't gotten the habit of putting my face on back yet. I dug all my makeup out the other day, but never did put it on. Oh well. I think the world is getting used to seeing my bare face. Have a great day everyone and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Morning everyone. Weather is clearing here. Mostly glad the wind has died down. I went in to town on a Walmart run yesterday and came home to find my awning on the roof. So first thing this morning a couple of guys in the park came over and helped me pick up the pieces. The awning itself is fine and we were able to roll it up but the arms snapped off. No damaged to the outside of the rv either thankfully. Will call the insurance guy later this morning. Oh well, stuff happens they say.

Hi Red & Dawn....HorizonS... and everyone else to come along...hope you have a good day....weather here is perfect as always! Had a great time at the beach with sister yesterday....then she spent time packing...taking her to airport this afternoon...she is going to PA ..so we are watching the weather up there...and checking in with airport. Takes about 2 hrs to get there and 2 hrs back...so that will shoot my afternoon...guess I will have to relax and read blogs and forum... ...

I was up early, at least for me, this morning--7:30 am and then just couldn't get back to sleep. I need to finish some grading and then my cousin is picking me up to spend the night at his place. I am all packed, but it sure feels strange to be packing while in this place.

Actually, I found a nice campground near West Palm Beach. Will tell more about it later--don't want anyone to know it will be empty tonight. I'll be here for a few days and then north to Jonathan Dickenson. Got so much work to do this semester, so I will be spending a lot of time sitting and working inside, but that will be a good place to do it.

Really muggy this morning. There are clouds and it looks like it might sprinkle, although that isn't predicted. Supposed to be 84 today.

Good Morning everyone... my oh my the east coast is going to get battered again... that is awful...
My daughter did fine with the injections... now she has a numb butt guess that is better than a numb skull.... it will take a few days before she knows if there is relief in her spine... we watched a movie 'The Help' while she was icing and taking it easy...
My knees are the same will take a few days for the injections to help... next thing is the colonoscopy set for monday am... I know you all envy me that one...
catching up on all the procedures that need doing while I am home this winter...
Dawn I think what the car dealer did was crazy... tell the truth and one can deal with it but they mostly do not...
Sounds like the group in Fl is having a great time... I have never been to the Keys before maybe one day I will go...

Good afternoon all!

Didn't make it on here earlier for good reasons: 1) Last night, had a great dinner thanks to Dawn's good grilling, Barbzeee's generosity, Pa-l's great bread,& meeting Ant Betty--the company & conservation were the best!!! Well that kept me owt til after 7, got home 8:30, slept til 7:30 this a.m., then 2) This morning, I had a great breakfast with Irmi & Steve--Irmi making her famos German pancakes!!!! Again, company & conversation the best! Which inclewdes Dawn & Pa-l stopping by in her new Fit FINALLY!!! Am I jst getting spoiled or what!!!??

Red, Dawn gave me yore msg that a Ho-ston GTG is in order on my way west!? Excellent! Will keep yew posted on my ETA. Yep, totally spoiled to meet all these great ladies!

"Sister weekend" starts this afternoon. Shopping & dinner tonight, Cedar Keys tomorrow! Recommeded by Irmi & Steve, & I knew it woold be something Sis woold love. Told her abot it first thing this a.m., & before I finished telling her everything, she said "We're going!!!" Anyone else been there??? Really looking forward to it.

Won't keep y'all any longer. My my my, nor'easterns are getting it bad! Gee, I coold be there right now, so why am I here??? Y'all have a great afternoon/evening, be safe wherever yew are & have a great start to the weekend!
